    island trip

    Audrey_W, Jun 2024
Tour guide on the trip out explained all about the islands, he stayed on the boat and said he'd be back in a coulple of hours . The boat left us on the island for 3+ hours which was too long given that we walked around the island in 15 minutes. there was a tiny strip of beach at the harbour. the sea is fllled with stones and rocks so you would need shoes to go in the water. There is a place to eat where you get off the boat but it takes cash only so make sure you have cash as you also have to pay 5 Euro to enter the island.

    Response from Host, Jul 2024

Hello Audrey, Thank you for your review. St. Jerolim Island has two beaches (one small in port, and one big in the back of the island (about 5 minutes walk). There are also flat rocks where you can put your towels or cushions and feel more private in many of the valleys. To explore the whole island you'd need about 1:30h, there is a lot of history on the island (chappel remains, quarry, strategic war points) and flora and fauna to observe and smell the incredible Mediterranean herbs. The beach offers incredible snorkeling with hundreds of fish. I'm sorry you haven't had the opportunity to see these places on the island. From experience most of the people would like to stay more than 4 hours at the island. Best regards from Croatia, Andrea
