What an awesome tour! And even more awesome was Fiona our tour guide! She gave us invaluable insights and clear directions took care of everything and even gave us some snacks and did a raffle! She even sang to us in Gaelic. We saw 2 castles, Loch Ness and the battelfield, while learning each step of the way. Would definitely recommend this tour especially with Fiona!!!

Fantastic tour! Out of the 3 tours we took in Scotland, this was my favorite. Fiona, our guide, was informative and entertaining. We had the added bonus of having Jason, a bagpipe player on the bus with us. They both told personal stories, and told us about the areas we were traveling thru from their perspective. I loved it!

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear this was your favorite tour in Scotland. Fiona and Jason will be delighted to know you enjoyed their stories and company – it was a pleasure having you with us!

We scheduled this excursion mainly because we wanted to see Loch Ness. It was a great decision! The tour left right out of our cruise ship terminal. We enjoyed the ride through the beautiful Scottish Highlands and our tour guide Fiona was awesome! We loved seeing the Urquhart Castle (though I don't recommend watching the ten minute film in the visitor center since it took away time to visit the castle). The boat cruise on Loch Ness was outstanding (saw so much scenery)! We also enjoyed our time at Cawdor Castle and our lunch (ordered ahead). The end of the tour at Culloden Battlefield was a nice historical perspective. Fiona even did a whiskey toast and Gaelic singing. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a fantastic Tour of the Scottish countryside with Fiona, whom imparted personal stories while we drove along the countryside. We were able to explore the grounds of Urquhart Castle, cruised Loch Ness (unfortunately no Nessie siting), roamed Cawdor Castle and it's gardens, and got a great history lesson of the Culloden Battlefield. There were really nice touches along the way - Scottish snacks, drinks, a Whisky toast at the Battlefield, and of course Fiona's wonderful singing to honor those who had fallen.
Great tour to maximize your time in Port and having such a wonderful guide in Fiona really made it fantastic! FYI - our driver, whose name has escaped me, was also great and very funny.

This was a great tour. But what makes it great is the tour guide. Fiona is passionate about the history and culture of Scotland and she brings everything to life.

We had a fantastic day with Fiona our guide and driver Ali. Fiona was amazing filling us interesting facts, singing to us and sharing treats along with a wee shot of whiskey. She works extremely hard and kept everyone entertained. Ali was a very courteous and safe driver. Would thoroughly recommend 👍

Fiona was a wonderful guide! One of the best we have had. She goes above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather so we’re able to truly enjoy the locations we stopped at. The amount o time spent at each location felt very appropriate.
The only thing Fiona was not able to do was magically produce a herd of highland cows for us to pet…lol
Would highly recommend this tour.

This was one of our favorite tours. Fiona (tour guide) was an absolute pleasure. She was very knowledgeable and brought a special touch with her singing, gifts of local treats and other items. Book this tour if you want to see a lot in one day and really learn about Scotland.

The tour & guide (Fiona) were excellent- But Viator advertised that this was a small group tour with no more than 20 passengers- what we got was a 50some passenger bus, quite a disappointment. That said, if you’re OK w/big buses, The Ultimate Loch Ness experience was great.

Fiona was a great guide and we enjoyed the trip through the highlands!! It was so beautiful and the boat ride was exceptional!!

Picturesque views. Absolutly stunning! The boat cruise was very nice as well. Tour was good, but 1 hour is not enough time to see the short documentary story in the shopping store, shop and quickly walk down the hill to tour the castle. Not too mention the time it takes to park the bus. Please factor in the long lines for using the women's bathroom. All of these items cut away from the 1 hour experience prior to taking the cruise on the lake.
