This was an amazing experience! Great experience for the value! Miso was the best tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about the star gazing aspect and made it fun and interesting! Make sure you bring something warm as the desert gets very cold at night. The food was unexpectedly good and they had professional photographers to document your time there.

A pleasant experience but a bit unorganised.

It started out with good expectations, the ATV ride was enjoyable and the staff pleasant after which we were transferred to the desert camp for the camel ride and stargazing this is where it became a bit unraveled the English speaking guide was not present and we were left to the German speaking guide to escort us and we found it impossible to take things in not speaking German, the saving grace was the arrival if late of the English guide who was very knowledgeable. I would have given 5 Stars if all had gone smoothly.

Excellent chance to get away from light pollution and see something other than pavement. Educational and enjoyable. Take plenty of extra water and then some more with you (we went in August). Our "guide to the stars" (Adam) was amazing, highly recommended if you want to see the desert stars.

Bad driving behaviour.

Nice to visit, but the irresponsible driving behavior of the driver is not acceptable. He drove as if he had to win a stage of a race. He even ignored a number of warnings during the ride. Only after a conversation with the responsible guide, upon arrival at the destination, did he adjust his driving behavior (also in the vehicle were the two photographers, who did the necessary translation without result). With normal driving behavior the score would have been worth 5 stars.

Tourist trap.

Didnt really rate this trip. I feel like it’s more of a mock up set. There was like one building, and three camels.. they said they live simply and get around on camels but the man had a van and a motorbike up the back of the little house. The camels were exhausted and getting pulled around by there noses and honestly my heart just broke a bit.. we gave them water, and they were so dehydrated.. I would have preferred to know this was just a mock set up if I’m honest.. maybe that’s on me for not researching better, but this is 100% a tourist trap.. but I still felt it was a cool educational point to see how boudin people do live to a point. However this just felt fake and considering they live in tribes it just felt like a bit of a lie all the info they were giving us that they lived there everyday when they clearly didn’t… it was just one family just carting three camels around.. You do a two minute camel ride, then all get in a huge line to see the moon through a telescope and have a little buffet tea which is potatoes and rice and chicken.. the highlight for us was the drive to it, our driver was an absolute scream and I think that made the trip for us not feel like a total rip off.. he had us laughing from the minute we got in the truck. Our guide was also lovely and informative. When we also paid, the man tried to take double money off me for the National park entrance, and that put a dampener on it.. like its not a lot but it’s just the fact that at every turn in our time in Egypt I have felt like I have had to be more vigilant than anywhere else about people trying to rob us out our money. So that may be another thing you want to be vigilant about when booking this trip.

Probably the highlight of our trip to Hurghada! Amazing from beginning to end especially the engagement with the Bedouin locals and children. The meal was divine. The driver drove extremely fast, which made my kids and I feel unsafe, which was the only detractor.

It took an hour and a half for quite a short drive including pickups from el Gouna. The walk sunset and Bedouin hospitality were good. Nasser was an excellent guide on the astronomy. The location was not remote enough for a really good night sky, el Gouna lights were visible The telescope was ok but not impressive. Excellent value for money at £30 however

What a wonderful evening. We really enjoyed tea, camel ride, sunset and the beautiful night sky. The guide was very knowledgeable. My daughter, who is 12, learned a lot and found it very memorable. She even said why couldn't our science lessons be taught like this. I wish too.

We were on 18.1.26 to stargaze in the desert. The trip was very nice. Our guide Arabi was very nice and asked regularly if we understood everything, or have questions. You can tell that he himself had a lot of fun and knows his way around. Jeep ride into the desert was wild! It goes over sand and dunes, the driver has started a party playlist, the whole thing has felt like a roller coaster ride at the fair :D We always had enough time for Pippi breaks or photos (with sunset and camel) The food was delicious and the stargazing fascinating. It was a really nice day:)

Two options are available with or without quad. To do again we would not do the quad. 30 minutes in a large plot to make a loop including 10 minutes of photo breaks sold at the end of the shoot 20 dollars. We had our glasses and scarves but big forcing us to buy theirs 11 dollars for 2 for two squares of fabrics and a pair of glasses to return at the end of the turn. We resisted the second pair. Fantastiskt! Guiden Nasser och hans team var supertrevliga och proffsiga. En fartfylld resa genom öknen till ett trevligt beduinläger där det bodde en supergullig familj. Intressant att få höra om deras liv. Sedan god middag med kamelridning och en vacker solnedgång över bergen. Fantastisk stjärnhimmel och en påläst astronom som berättade och visade. Bra att veta är att det utöver priset även tillkommer en skatt som de tar betalt av dig på plats.

Très belle fin de journée et soirée au milieu du désert et sous les étoiles. Départ de l'hôtel à 16h30 pour quelques kilomètres en Jeep afin de rejoindre le "village" où quelques bédouins nous attendaient. Après un thé, nous avons fait un aller/retour de 5 mn sur un dromadaire. Puis nous avons gravi les montagnes pour assister au couché de soleil : spectacle juste magnifique ! Enfin après un dîner local sans prétention nous avons admirer le ciel et les étoiles avant de repartir (vers 21h) du site pour rejoindre l'hôtel.
