Incredible trip

We had an amazing trip to Luxor, it was the highlight of our holiday. Luxor is incredible and a can't miss thing to do. The Valley of the Kings and temple of Hatshepsut were the highlights. Choosing to do the private tour was a great choice, it was so comfortable and easy. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted at the sites and weren't being rushed. Being able to spend longer at the Valley of the Kings, doing extra tombs, and deciding our own itinerary was fantastic. Our driver Yasser was fantastic, he was a life saver with cold water after walking in the heat and he generally was so friendly and helpful. We couldn't have hoped for a better driver.

Online-Buchung der Tour über's Smartphone völlig problemlos. Abholung durch Fahrer und Reiseleiter pünktlich am vereinbarten Ort. Ca. dreieinhalb-stündige Autofahrt mit Tee- und Toilettenpause von Hurghada nach Luxor. Dort Besichtigung des Karnak-Tempels, leckeres und reichhaltiges Mittagessen, Besuch des Tals der Könige und des Hatschepsut-Tempels sowie der Memnon-Kolosse. Zwischendurch Besuch eines steinverarbeitenden Betriebes (Verkaufsveranstaltung). Aber man muss ja nichts kaufen. Die Bananeninsel, ein Papyrus-Institut und die Schifffahrt wollte ich auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch nicht machen. Bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten war genügend Zeit, nach der Führung alles selbst nochmal zu erkunden und Fotos zu machen. Am Abend Rückfahrt nach Hurghada mit kleiner Pause. Der Ägyptologe Ati Azeem hat sehr gut Deutsch gesprochen und hat mit ausgezeichnetem Fachwissen durch den Tag geführt. Auch während der langen Autofahrt haben wir uns sehr gut unterhalten. Es hat richtig Spass gemacht. Der Fahrer hat seine Sache ebenfalls sehr gut gemacht. Zügig und mit guter Ortskenntnis hat er uns sicher überall hin gebracht. Achtung: Im Tal der Könige nicht die Bilder-CD kaufen! Lieber 17 EURO zusätzlich für den Foto-Pass zahlen und selbst fotografieren! Alles in allem eine sehr interessante und sehenswerte Tour!
