Very expensive trip

I wouldn't choose this tour. We went for private tour so we can take our time because we have a toddler. Tour guide rushed us and we expected to pay for tickets on top but having researched it before and the amount the tour guide asked us was drastically different. He also tried to sneak through the museum without a ticket until the security noticed and he paid them off at the door. So we assume this extra money he asked us for was to pay for his ticket which he clearly didn't purchase. After all the costs of the tickets it came up to way more then the the trip itself was worth. Highly advise going with a tour which include ticket prices. This will still be cheaper then what we spent. He also chose a local restaurant which clearly wasn't equipped for toddlers knowing we bought a toddler the restaurant had no high chairs. Also said they provide infant car seat which they didn't. The saving grace of the whole trip had to be our driver who was very accommodating, lovely man.

More Expensive than described

Pick up and travel in Cairo was really good. However there are many additional costs to consider:tips, entrance, fees, drinks… We just wanted to have a quick look in the old town of Cairo as we thought that it was included in the Itenary. Our guide proceeded to take us there an show us around for 15 minutes, only to inform us afterwards that it were not included and charged us 200EGP (13$) per person for the small detour. Af the end of the day we easily spend another 100$ on top of the price of these tickets because of many “options” as the guide explained it to us. Apart from that it was a really nice experience and the transportation from A to B was really good and smooth.

We had an amazing trip, the ride from Hurgada to Cairo is pretty long but the car was very comfortable and new, the driver made us feel very safe and we had different stops to go to the toilet and have a drink. We saw all the main attractions and they were soooo worth it. We also want to thank the our guide who was very clear in his explanation and who was always available for any questions we had. It was a day that we will never forget!

Our tour to Cairo was a great experience. Especially the boat tour on the Nile and the visit of the pyramids were superbe. Many thanks to our tour guide Omar who was always very competent and polite and responded perfectly to our wishes/needs.

Very great trip but more costs

The Trip was great Amr was our guide and he did his job amazing. You can tell him that you want some minutes to rest,a bit less information and he is doing it with a very good hand for your feelings. Well four stars because you need to know that really no entry is included. That should be more clear in the trip description. Think about +60€ and you are in a realistic area. The parfum factory is just a communication about buisness. Sit down, I show you..., what do you want to buy? Well, the car was very good, the drive as well. The tour guide was great - be sure that it will take some energy from you but you will catch moments and aspects of aegypt you will not get without this trip and never forget. 👍

Cairo day visit

Our day trip from Hurghada to Cairo was very interesting. Abdul our driver was very good and was available promptly when ever needed. Our guide Nagi was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable. A long day but very worthwhile but 1 day is never enough. Our itinerary included the Museum, boat trip on the Nile, lunch overlooking the Pyramids. Visit to the Pyramids, entering one and the Sphinx. On the way visited a papyrus/art factory and a perfume manufacturer. Cairo traffic not good, dodgems on the move. Some road surfaces outside Cairo were not the greatest. Overall highly satisfied.

We were picked up at 3am in a new, air conditioned car and dropped off to out amazing, knowledgable tour guide who took care of our every need. I let him know it was my birthday and arranged a birthday cake at our lunch which was an amazing surprise. I cannot put into words how amazing he looked after us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our tour. I would highly recommend this tour to any traveller. I didn’t feel stressed or overwhelmed by the amount of tourists as he knew the best routes to avoid this. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service. An absolute must! Thank you so much for the experience

We had an excellent time with Nagy our most excellent guide. he took us to the pyramids we rode camels we went to the Egyptian museum we rode a boat and then Ate great Egyptian food he looked after us he’s in a Egyptologist he’s an excellent guide our drivers picked us up at the hotel in Hurghada Mahmoud and Abdul great guys felt totally safe the whole time this is a great tour very professional on time highly recommend thank you guys

i booked this tour through viator website after i checked many web sites in the internet,i found this one is the best for me regarding the price and the service as solo travelers.every one did perfect job and every thing went smooth,drove in comfort in luxury limousine to cairo ,my tour guide sherif was waiting for me,hi is very nice person with great knowledge and always smiling and he is so proud of the Egyptian history,he taught me a lot during the day,the pyramids is unique to see,i do recommend any one to book this trip,perfect job.thanks

every thing mas perfect since the pick up time till the return,our representative mohammed picked us up from our hotel in hurghada on time,it took around 4 hours to get to cairo ,our tour guide sherif was the highlight of the tour ,he was so knowledgeable,educated and funny and he is so professional in egyptian history,for us it was much details to know but in the same time was so interesting,we took many photos for all the sites and of course it was great day tour,i recommend every one to do it,definitely you will enjoy it

Schöner privater Trip nach Kairo

Der Trip ist lang, vom Hotel abgeholt um 2 Uhr 30 morgens und zurück um 19 Uhr 30. Aber vor allem die Pyramiden und die Sphinx sind die Anstrengung echt wert. Die Privattour lohnt auf alle Fälle, man spart Zeit und alles ist individueller. Unser Guide Amr war super nett, hat alles erklärt und all unsere Fragen beantwortet. Alles lief gut organisiert und pünktlich ab, der Fahrer war nett und kompetent v.a. im Verkehrschaos von Kairo. Mittagessen war okay, mehr aber auch nicht. Natürlich waren der Besuch in Parfümerie und Papyrusfabrik auch nur Verkaufsveranstaltungen, aber zumindest in der Parfümerie sehr sehr nett. An den Pyramiden bekommt man eine Kutschfahrt oder einen Kamelritt angeboten, nehmt die Kamele! Die armen Pferdchen müssen ganz schön schuften. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswerter Ausflug und aufgrund der privaten Tour haben wir es noch vor den 20 Reisebussen an die Pyramiden geschafft.

Einzigartige Tour und Erlebnis fürs Leben

Unser Fahrer Machmut war so höflich, nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns viel erklärt auf der Fahrt nach Kairo, die ca (mit 4 Checkpointcontrollen Wartezeit ca 10-20min) etwa 5h gedauert hat. Bei den Stops gab es immer die Möglichkeit von Toilette , Snacks und Getränken. Das Auto war geräumig und sehr bequem, deswegen war die Fahrt sehr angenehm. Wir fuhren zum ägyptischen Museum, Nilfahrt, Mittagessen, Lotusgeschäft, Gizehplateau und Sphinx, immer direkt vor der ‚Haustüre‘ mit unserer deutschen Guide (eine ältere Ägypterin mit sehr gutem deutsch und sehr lieb) vom Fahrer abgesetzt. Das war sehr angenehm und toll oragnisiert. Die einzelnen Führungen und Bootsfahrt hatten wir nur zu 2. Wir fuhren an einem Samstag-Feiertag in Ägypten und daher ‚weniger’ Verkehr. Das ganze Paket empfehlen sehr und macht die Rundfahrt im hektischen Kairo sehr angenehm. Unser Fahrer hat uns sicher um 9 Uhr abends wieder vor unserem Hotel abgesetzt. Sehr empfehlenswert, interessant und einfach einigartig!

Ägyptisches Museum und Pyramiden

Ein unvergesslicher Tagesausflug, bei dem alles gepasst hat. Unser persönlicher Fahrer kam pünktlich um 2 h in der Früh vors Hotel und führte uns sicher nach Kairo und wieder zurück . Ein besonderer Gewinn war unser deutschsprachlicher Reiseführer, der uns alles wissenswerte im ägyptischen Museum und den Pyramiden erzählte (68 jähriger Mann, der mit Leib und Seele die Ausgrabungen erklären kann).Ich kann diesen Ausflug nur empfehlen, auch wenn er sehr anstrengend ist

Hemos tomado el tour privado porque nuestro fin era hacer una meditación en las pirámides y no queríamos hacer colas o esperas de grupos. La experiencia fue genial desde un primero momento el chofer fue muy gentil, educado en un coche nuevo muy cómodo. El viaje de ida es largo porque hay muchos controles pero se puede descansar y tomar café o desayunar mientras la espera. Al llegar al cairo nos recibió Zenab que es encantadora, muy amable y 100% dispuesta a ayudarnos con lo que deseábamos hacer. Pasamos breve tiempo en el museo que decidimos ver sólo lo más importante ya que no teníamos tiempo de recorrerlo completo. Ella nos explicó y nos indicó lo mejor. También la visita al museo del papiro. El almuerzo es regular pero puedes elegir lo que desees. Luego fuimos a las pirámides y fue espectacular, nos llevaron en coche a cada una y así ganar tiempo y energía ya que debíamos regresar el mismo día a Hurghada y al día siguiente a nuestro país. Agradecemos a Zenab y Nasr al Abd el conductor por la inolvidable experiencia. Lo recomendamos 100%

Toller Ausflug mit einem supper Reisefrührer und Fahrer

Ein toller Ausflug nach Kairo. Alles hat super geklappt. Wir wurden pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt. Alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein Ausflug mit einem persönlichen Tour-Guide können wir nur empfehlen, da diese nebst dem angebotenen Programm auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingehen. Wir haben viele Informationen und Eindrücke erhalten/gewonnen, welche in einer grösseren Gruppe nicht möglich gewesen wäre. Auf der Transfer mit einem Auto ist wesentlich angenehmer als mit einem Bus. Wir können diese Tour empfehlen.

Super angenehme und interessante Tour nach Kairo

Wir haben diese Tour gebucht, nachdem wir uns dazu entschieden hatten, definitiv nicht von Hurghada nach Kairo mit dem Bus zu fahren und ich muss sagen - alles richtig gemacht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Abholung erfolgte um 3 Uhr in der Nacht und die Hinfahrt ein Stück mit weiteren Bussen, Vans und Limousinen im Konvoi. Ankunftzeit in Kairo war ca. 9 Uhr. Leider ist Kairo bekannt für sein absolutes Verkehrschaos, womit ich nur empfehlen kann, die Tour wenn möglich freitags oder samstags zu planen (oft weniger Verkehr). Wir trafen unseren Guide Tarek direkt am Museum und gemeinsam mit unserem Fahrer begleitete er uns bis zur Rückfahrt gegen 17 Uhr. Das Museum war faszinierend und für jeden, der sich für die Geschichte der Ägypter interessiert ein Muss. Danach konnte auf freiwilliger Basis eine Nilfahrt erfolgen. Wir lehnten freundlich ab (ich fahre einfach nicht gerne Schiff, Boot o.Ä.) und fragten stattdessen nach einem Moscheebesuch, der zwar nicht im Programm stand, aber ohne weitere Probleme erfolgen konnte. Auf dem Weg zu den Pyramiden haben wir gehalten und Tarek hat uns ganz spontan ein paar Dinge über die Religion und die Kultur erzählt. Vor dem Besuch der Pyramiden hielten wir noch in einer Parfümerie, wo natürlich Öle und Parfüm käuflich erworben werden konnten. Da wir schon häufiger davon gelesen hatten, waren wir nicht überrascht. Danach gingen wir in ein kleines Restaurant (ich war sehr skeptisch und auch ein bisschen besorgt, aber das Essen war wirklich super lecker und wir beide haben alles gut vertragen :)). Das Highlight waren für uns natürlich die Pyramiden und die Sphinx. Es ist, als würde man in der Zeit zurück reisen. Diesen Moment sollte man wirklich komplett genießen. Ein ganz großer Dank gilt da natürlich auch Tarek und unserem lieben Fahrer, der uns nach so vielen Stunden gesund und immer noch munter gegen 21 Uhr in unserem Hotel abgesetzt hat. Tarek hat uns so viele Informationen mitgegeben und wirklich versucht, uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen und den Tag nach unseren Vorstellungen zu gestalten. Ich hatte nicht gedacht, dass dieser lange Tag so angenehm und so stressfrei sein würde. Eine Sache muss ich allerdings anmerken und kann da nur an eure Vernunft appellieren, die nichts mit dem Veranstalter und der Tour selbst zu tun hat. Wenn ihr an den Pyramiden seid, BITTE unternehmt KEINEN Kamelritt um die Pyramiden nur für ein schönes Foto und KEINE Kutschfahrt mit dem Pferd. Die Tiere befinden sich in einem fürchterlichen Zustand, werden unzumutbar behandelt und sind mit der gesamten Situation völlig überfordert. Ja, der Tourismus ist wichtig für die Einheimischen und sie leben davon, aber mir kamen wirklich die Tränen. Für die Tour aber sprechen wir eine ganz große Empfehlung aus. :)

Nous avons passé une excellente journée accompagné de notre guide et chauffeur. Notre guide connaissait parfaitement bien son sujet et le chauffeur maitrisait remarquablement la conduite un peu particulière en Égypte et surtout au Caire. Il faut prévoir environ 130€ (2 personnes) pour les billets et les activités une fois sur place (balade sur le Nil, accès au plateau de Gizeh en calèche pour prendre des photos). D'ailleurs, les photos avec des effets amusants ont été prises par le conducteur de la calèche. Notre guide nous a aussi fait visité une fabrique de papier russe et une fabrique de parfum (attention au prix qui peuvent varier considérablement en fonction du talent de négociateur).

Excellente journée avec un chauffeur et un guide francophone (Nagui) qui nous sont dédiés et sont à l'écoute (pause pipi, questions, prise de photos) . Départ à l'heure dans une voiture récente, programme respecté avec un guide qui connait le sujet et une vraie bonne surprise pour le repas et la croisière privée sur le Nil. Compter environs 500 euros avec les entrées pour 4, à faire.
