This was a great whole day at sea. Our first diving experiance and we both loved it! It was a little more difficult than we thought but it was really a great experiance. Our instructors were both very cary and friendly. Bassiouni was my instructor in my first dive and he was very care and friendly, he also took great photos and video. Zaza was my friends instructor as well as mine in my second dive. Zaza is extremely patient and super nice. We recommend this trip 100%

They didn't arrive at the pickup. No show. No messages. Pickup was at 8am, I got there a bit before. Waited till 9am. They didn't message or anything, so I decided to call it quits. It's annoying as it stopped us from doing other excursions.

I was in the lobby from 7:40am waiting for my transfer to pick me up and take me to the marina, was waiting until 8:20, 40 mins in total and the transfer was a no show. Just didn’t turn up, I then requested a refund for my excursion and have been told it has to go through an investigation in order to receive my money back. Not much to investigate considering they just didn’t turn up & missed a day of potentially doing something else.

Although the boat is clean. Well maintained and the staff is very nice. It felt like a lot of waiting around for basically no actual time in the water 15 minutes per dive.. maybe?. But wait for several hours in between and stand around while others snorkel. The food was good. Relaxing in the boat was nice. The stand over you and make sure you give them a 5 star review on TripAdvisor wasnt great.. pick up and drop off was fairly frustrating. Being told to meet them on the road when after they picked us up they were clearly able to drive to the front of other properties and pick people up no problem. Dropping a father and daughter off on the road instead of driving them to the front of their hotel… also felt odd. positively they made my first scuba experience feel safe and at least attended to. But there was a lot I would have liked to change as well

Such a great experience, we did 2 dives and as a beginner who was really nervous this was literally so perfect. The crew are so nice, and informative and I felt so safe with them, they explained everything really well and it’s very well organised that in each dive you are swimming with an instructor.

We had a great experience. We got picked up a bit late, but it didn't interfere with the planned schedule. The diving was very nice and enjoyable. The two dives are at the same spot but go into two different directions. It was a bit cold the whole day, but apparently we had gone exactly in the coldest week of the winter. Recommend taking your own towels with you. Our trip got rescheduled twice due to bad weather, but luckily we were able to manage and get a good day. The lunch is great and very tasty. Soft drinks and coffee also always available.

We were unable to go out on the boat due to winds, which is fine. They then offered to do a dive from shore, to which we agreed. We then had a brief introduction and dived for approximately 15 minutes, after which we got up and they told us to take of the equipment and go home. We were confused by this as what we had paid for was 2 dives and included lunch. We discussed with the crew and agreed to a refund. We then went back to our hotel, and since then have heard nothing. Viator is absolutely not helpful either. I am not sure a human has reviewed our case, as we keep getting standard responses. I recommend you stay away from this company and Viator in general.

The trip started very slowly. Lot of hassle in the harbor where crew members wandered with papers to fill without any organized manner. After we finally got to the diving site there seemed to be quite hurry. My first dive went pretty good and I saw nice corals, fishes and one octopus. That was nice. On the second dive we came back to the surface after few minutes and the instructor said to me "don't do that". I still don't know what he meant but obviously I did something wrong. Then we went down again and instructor knocked me on the head by his oxygen bottle. After that we messed up with anchor ropes. Then we stopped. It was a very short dive. All in all the trip was satisfactory but not well suited for first-timers.

I am honestly super annoyed, I booked the trip days in advance and got told the pick up time will be communicated 9 pm the day before I texted at 10:30 pm asking about it, to get informed it was cancelled due to weather. Then I got ask when I want to reschedule, wich I told them but I never got a confirmation about the new date. I later asked for it but didn't got any answer. I understand weather is not under your control but communication is and I don't feel like the tour will happen to this later date as I didn't got any answer since then.

Exactly the same scuba experience offered to tourists for a fraction of the price. Great team, and a lot of awesome people. Ofc the food isn’t the highlight of the trip, so don’t expect 5* experience.

The coral is very beautiful. Lots of fishes. The diving instructor is very friendly and helpful. Food was okay. Cons: take your own GoPro for underwater shooting. They charge 50€ for pictures. The boat toilet is dirty.

This tour is amazing. Diving guides are professional. They will explain things you have to know prior to the dive, and they will lead you under water during the whole diving time, so there is nothing to be worried about. The tour consist of 2 dives, if you think you cannot make the 2nd one, you could forfeit it, no pushing from guides.

Fun and easy trip to get a taste of scuba diving in Egyptian reefs

It’s a good trip for anyone looking for a first time diving experience. The divers are exceptionally good. They will hand hold you through the diving and you would have a wonderful experience. The guide Ahmed and the crew were very good and made us comfortable. The food was excellent too.

Nice diving experience, beautiful views, but one of the crew member made me wear the wetsuit backwards (zip from the front instead of the back) so he could grab my breast 3 times while "trying to help me". I felt unsafe the rest of the day, stock on the same boat as him till we came back to land. Careful if you are a lady traveling alone.

Overall, not a 'Badge of Excellence' experience

Although internet said 08:00, the pick up time was communicated in advance to be 08:15. The driver was punctual. We reached the boat around 08:45, and were told to fill some forms. This is where the trip started to go south. Here, it is important to differentiate between the tour operator through whom I booked the tour and the tour itself. The tour/dive itself was nice, but the tour operator made the overall experience really bad. It said on the forms that pregnant women and/or women trying to get pregnant should not dive. We fall in the latter category. Neither was this communicated to us by the operator nor does the website has this description. Both the tour operator (Sea Memories) and Viator are at fault here. This was our first scuba diving trip experience, hence, we didn't know this either. This means we paid for everything, made the effort, took out the time, and now my wife couldn't go in. Prior to the trip, I also asked the tour operator if towels would be provided on boat, and he said yes (I have proof!). But in reality, they were not. I had to stand in cold winds after the dive, which was super uncomfortable! I contacted the operator several times about these two things. He read all my messages, but never replied. This is his number: +20 103 354 9004, and he is part of 'Sea Memories' tour operators. In case it comes up somewhere, you should definitely avoid him! I cannot comment about the rest of the tour operating agency. Viator says this trip has a 'Badge of Excellence'. Our experience in no way was excellent. Viator should thoroughly check who they are doing business with and also correct information on this dive's page. The dive itself was nice. My dive instructor was Mohamed Rafat, who was not only a good and understanding diver, but also a great human. He was very friendly towards my son. I saw several fish in the dive, and also a ship wreck. The lunch was also very nice. Overall, I was quite upset with the turn of events.

I must express my profound disappointment regarding the booked transfer and diving excursion through your company. we confirmed the transfer, with instructions to wait at the reception the day before. However, the driver never appeared at the hotel, as confirmed by the reception. Despite multiple phone calls and a total wait time of 60 minutes, we were informed that a refund was not possible. Unless a satisfactory resolution is reached, we feel compelled to share our unpleasant experience in online reviews. We were looking forward to a seamless diving excursion with my son. Unfortunately, this experience has cast a disheartening shadow on our expectations. We even planned to obtain the Open Water certification next year, and this unfortunate situation significantly influences our decision. An experience not to be missed, even for non swimmers! .

This trip was amazing from the very start of the boat journey. The staff where all extremely helpful and friendly. I had said I was a non swimmer but I was reassured that I could still take part in the diving experience, Islam, the diving instructor talked me through everything and stayed with me, holding my hand from start to finish of the dive, reassuring me all the time. I was truly amazed at what you could see, it’s like a whole new world under the sea. The food was okay, there was more than enough for everyone and cold drinks were also available, all included in the price of the experience. The bus pick up and drop off wasn’t great, the drivers were not friendly, infact the one dropping us off at our hotel was very rude and even though myself and husband both have mobility issues both drivers refused to come up to the hotel main door to collect us! Putting that aside though, the trip was well worth every penny, we even got our pictures and videos taken, which you could purchase at a reasonable price at the end. Thank you to the boat staff and our tour guide, who was very attentive throughout the day and a personal thank you to Islam for all his patience today.

They did not even pick me up from at my hotel. Did not send a confirmation after booking either. On top of that they haven’t issued a refund yet. Will report them here in Hurghada. Stay away from this company!
