We had a great time on this as a family with two young kids (7 and 5). Pickup arrangements communicated the day before, extras noted eg EUR 5 park fees, EUR 5 for scarfs and EUR 2 for goggles. Necessary with the dust when you go fast. Bring your own scarf if you want. Well organised, and as we had young kids they split us into two groups as we went slower than the rest. They were patient with us and always made sure we were ok. Picked up pace once we got the hang of it. Lots of driving time, about half hour there and another half hour back, very fun. Camel ride was a short one as we had expected so no surprises. The short climb up a hill nearby gave spectacular views over the desert and Bedouin camp. No pressure to buy anything or to write a review at the end of the event (I'm writing this on my own accord). Drop off back to our hotel with no problems. Great few hours out. Highly recommend this provider.

Great quad trip, about 30 mins into the desert, some activities in the bedding village (all included) and then 30 mins back. We did the 3 hour tour, I think you can also do 5h with dinner and shows. Note that you WILL get VERY dusty so wear appropriate clothes. Take your head scarf if you have one or you can get one for $5. Goggles and helmet are included in the price. You also have to pay 5 EUR per person for Safari entry on the spot, can be cash or card.

Bumpy drive, but a nice experience. Good guide. A bit long drive, with kids, but overall a fun trip.

A wonderful experience, our guide Rammi (Rambo) looked after us throughout and ensuring we was okay, he was full of knowledge and ever so kind ensuring we were comfortable with a stop in between. The quad bikes are fast and easy to ride! when we arrived at the village we had some delicious tea and bread which we watched being made. I found the pharmacy interesting and of course you can buy some teas and natural/herbal remedies. The camels seemed content and well looked after. The trip was seamless from start to finish, just remember the either take a scarf or you can buy one there for a small price and keep at the end. I would recommend this excursion for anyone who wants to have a little adventure and learn about Bedouin culture.

A fun trip into the desert on a 4 wheeler. It was a beautiful day and we road out to a Bedouin camp where members of our group ride camels. My husband and I did not since we live in Aswan and have frequently ridden camels there. After some tea and learning about Bedouin customs, we headed back right at sunset.

Over all it was a nice experience, quad biking was very exciting but the whole Bedouin village can be skipped… To me it didn’t feel authentic and didn’t feel real at all. You can ride a camel for 60 seconds but the way they treat these animals is not okay. We just got 2 cups of water and the soft drinks were not free, but what can you expect from this price. It was a nice experience but if you have seen the “village” already I would look for another company.

Lovely experience. You get to go fast on the quads. Would recommend wearing a bumbag for your phone and money.

Adult and 6yr old. Booked for the PM slot at short notice. Got a WhatsApp message within a few minutes asking to confirm hotel room number. I then quickly realised I had double booked with another activity. I replied back to the WhatsApp if I could change the booking for the next day AM slot, they quickly replied stating that it was fine and not a problem.
Next morning pick up was on time. Got to destination and after a short wait, we were ready in a quad, myself and my son sharing. We had our own scarves but had to rent goggles at 2 euro or 2 dollars each. I had dollars so paid 4 dollars in total. They provided a bottle of water each for free. There was no other customers. The lead driver, hamdi, said no other booking so we will get private tour.
We drove 15 mins towards to the mountains, stopped for some photos and then drove another 15 mins in to the mountains to the village. We rode a camel each for 5minutes and then was offered to visit the on site Terrarium where they had snakes and the like but cost I think 4 dollars each to enter, we kindly passed and they didn't push back. As it was just me and my son, the guide asked if we wanted to to have the tea or just jump back on to ride back, we opted to ride back.
The return journey was the same, 15 mins and pictures, then 15 mins more back to base.
No heavy push for sales but we found out the guides are mostly from out of town who stay for work 2 months at a time and then get 10days off. Wage is low and do rely on tips to make up their salary.
I would highly recommend as it was such a relaxed drive, the terrain can be very bumpy, like a washboard at times so keep in mind if you have a bad back!

Picked up at the arranged time from the hotel and went straight to the destination. Not much waiting around before your given instructions on how the trip is going to go. Set out across the desert in a small group and arrived at the mid way stop. Meet the locals and had a camel ride which was brilliant before having some free time for photos. Headed back to the start point where we brought some photos of our day which will be sent to us to keep and print which ones we like. Perfect trip and so worth the money we paid. Great communication from the guides and before hand to arrange pick up. Thanks.

Excellent day out well organised and good value the teenagers and grandad loved it . They were used to quads and it was a long way which they loved
David_R, Sep 2024
This was a great bike trip thru the desert. Because it was a Solo private tour, we were able to drive much faster than the regular group tour. Lots of fun.

Booked . Specified picking up location and time. Confirmed had tickets and they did not turn up. Called number on ticket it was not going through. Sent them messages through Viator and did not respond. My boys were deviated as they had got up early for this excursion.

Great experience, not for the light hearted, my wife loved it & hated it at the same time as with the camel ride. The Egyptian Bedouin Pharmacy in the desert was interesting :-)
deb_j, Nov 2023
Brilliant communication when it came to pick up and what time was wassaped this.
Great time had well worth the money and tour guide was amazing. Would definitely do this again ❤️❤️
Snjezana_B, Oct 2023
It was a rough start in morning (car broke before pickup and new one was quickly sent out) but that made activity so much better.
We ended with private tour for 5 of us. Guide was really good, good English, very helpful, took many pictures of us (no extra charge), made sure that everyone was safe and having good time
Camel ride - 100 meters or so, plenty for experience. Tried bread that was made right there and had some tea.
Would fo it again. So much fun

The tour ist amazing and the guide was the best we could even get. The desert, the speed, the time together with beduins. Also the nice people in our small group!
Fuad_K, Jul 2023
The beduin village was a really good experience. Camel ride was also truly awesome. Our guide was very kind and helpfull. He took good care of us.
I would not recommend the ride on atv with small children. It is a hard and brutal ride through the desert. We had our children with us. Age 5 and 8.

Pick up on time but when there hanging around for 2 hours at the start without knowing why. Had to buy scarf for EUR4 to cover mouth- take your own as it is dusty, and good sunglasses so you don't have to hire their eye mask for EUR2. Aside from Arabic limited communication in other languages. Actual time on the quadbike was the 2hours on very uneven desert sand. Some parts really shook you but got to quite high speed on other parts. On the ride they did keep pausing to let those at the back catch up. Didnt really see much of the village life. Camel ride was only about 100m, so enough for a taster. Overall away from Hurghada hotel for about 5hours.

I had an amazing time! I was able to book 2.5 hours ahead of the appointment time (which was super convenient because many places didn't have same-day appts available - but now I'm glad they didn't!). The company was prompt about reaching out to coordinate the pick up with me, and they arrived early and waited for me. Once I got to the desert, they had a guide and bike ready for me, and it was such a great time! Make sure to bring a scarf and sunglasses. We traveled out to a Bedouin village, rode a camel and tried some of the bread. When then rode back, with a few breaks to stop and take pictures. I had such a great time with my guide, and I would recommend this to anyone!

The views were absolutely breathtaking! The experience itself was exciting and new! Ali was great! :)

Driver was on time. I rode with the instructor as it was my first time. Had a blast! Bought a scarf and met the lovely bedouin people. All on time, so we could catch our bus back to cairo.

This tour is meant for speed junkie who get the thrill of speeding thru the desert. Not meant for those whose intention is to take a leisurely ride across the desert.
David_A, Jan 2026
Nice to do but without more the Bedouin village seems to be made especially for catching tourists

Au top ! Le guide rambo est super!
40 à 50 km de quad dès le désert vraiment magnifique …
Et franchement pour le prix on va pas faire de manière! Car en Europe c’est 5x le prix
Response from Host, Sep 2024
