thanks alot for your review which we really appreciate. but the point is that you didn't see any positive point in the trip to mention. This is a group tour and this is a program includes museum, pyramids, sphinx,lunch and a stop as a break before you leave Cairo and for sure it's option to buy or not but really surprised how you didn't mention your opinion about all the sites,the arrangement level,tourguide,very modern airconditioned bus and extra service. anyway I hope that next time you can choose a private customized trip but you know everything depends on the cost as well. Thanks one more time.

What a letdown - Avoid this.

The whole trip was unfortunately a big let down. The trip itself took in total 24 hours, which is not a point of critique. I signed up for a long trip. However, i sat more then 12 hours in the bus to see the piramides and the sfynx. One would expect that the trip would revolve around them. But it was not. The trip was revolved around getting as much of getting money out of your pockets as possible. We had limited time at the piramides, sfinx and the museum, but we had unlimited time at the paper factory and the perfume shop... When we were the museum first, we got around 30 minutes of free time. The reason? The museum had so much to offer we would take it all in anyway... Next we had the option to take a nile cruise. It was optional. If you would decline you had to wait an hour in the bus. Next we had the paper factory. We were at the area of the piramides but instead of going to the world wonder they took us to the Papyrus shop. Where we had almost no tiene at the museum, which was a shame, because it was beautiful, they took their sweet time at the Papyrus shop. It was a swindle, because it was all an selling act. The guy had given his speech a million times and it was like listening to a pre recorded cassette. Very very pushy sellers, and almost come in blows with one of them for being rude with my wife. After that we went to a restaurant. Also a let down. In the restaurant we had d half hour as well.. to eat, refresh, and relax. It was basically sit down, quickly eat and leave. A can of coke was 4 euros... You go to the toilet there was a guy following you for a tip. They removed all the toilet paper so you had the take tissues that the boy had for s tip. What a Bs. Then we went to the piramids. Finally. It was awesome ! But also here, 30 minutes. We then left to another spot to see the piramids. You could take a camel ride or a horse carriage to see them. For yet another additional surcharge. They told is that it was the only way to go to there. It was a lie. You could just walk. Another scam. When you were there the guys handling the camel's were harassing you to take pictures, and leave immediately. They ask, well demand a tip and want to leave immediately so the Endt group could go. You had absolutely no time to enjoy to view. Lastly we had to see the sfynx. We had 4 minutes... 4 minutes at the sfynx. The bus stopped literally on the road, and the guide told us quickly to take pictures before the police came.. also here no time to enjoy the view. We were thinking we were late to go back. But we had more tour. A perfume shop. Where we had 4 minutes to see the sfynx, they again took their time to sell us Bs at the perfume shop. The whole trip was centered around selling you bs, instead of focusing on the beauties of the piramids, sfinx and the museum. Just avoid this, it was a big scam.

Thanks for the review. I think this review is fair in some points and not in some others. Long journey is for sure by bus because of the police procedures with all the guests.30 minutes Free time in the museum to see the Golden treasures of tutankhamen is fair enough with the group tour because the tourguides make a tour of around 1 hour and then free extra time. Besides the big groups take time for the tickets, toilets etc.. I think is fair to make all the guests satisfied (this is not a private tour). Around 2 hours in the pyramids and sometimes more is normally because as you saw there (very busy days with tourists and don't forget that the group takes time to get in and off. I sent you on whatsapp that day not to feel pushed to do any extra options (can be interesting for some people and not for others ((this is normal)) but I think you just care only about few dollars here or there more than you want to enjoy. Selling staff style is offered by the sellers and you can find many like to buy and many don't. Was much better to get a very customized tour by the way you like better than to write unfair review like this. Any way no one can satisfy all the guests. Thanks again. Regards

Memorable Kairo trip

It was a great day in Kairo visiting land marks, i.e the Egyptian museum, a trip on the Nile and the pyramids in Giza where we went on a camel tour. The guide was really good at telling us all the history and was also very supportive all through the day to all passengers. On the minus side: too long bus tour with minimum of breaks and the whole trip took 26 hours whereoff only 7 hours on Kairo. The group was continously stressed for example we had maximum 30 minutes for lunch including toilet visit but then we had to go both for equally long visits to a perfume shop and a papyrus shop.

Thanks alot dear for this review. We know that it is a very long trip because of the procedures of the police and that happened that day with all the guests. As I told you the procedures of the police were canceled since that day but at the same time whenever you book a group tour anywhere, you feel sometimes stressed because some guests can lose time but I am happy that the tourguide and the staff tried to do their job as much as they could.

This tour was very long, the travel time left us very tired. But the tour itself was very great we had some time in the museum and at the pyramid. i would delently recomand this tour. Note: you should bring at least 20usd extra for the nile rivere tour (was not included :( ) and if you whant to do the camel tour at the pyramid and maybe some 15usd extra for tips. they should have mention the extra cost or included in their price. some clients stay inside the bus because they did not want to do the extra tour.

Everything was fine! Nice English speaking tour guide. The tour was divide to 2 groups (English and Russian). They picked us up at 2.45 am at Hurghada hotel and tour finished at +- 22:30. Stops during the trip: Museum - very interesting, Institute of papyrus (OK), Lunch (all you can eat restaurant, food was delicious), Cruise on the Nile - optional (additional fee: 10 euros per person)- nothing special to see, Pyramids and Sphinx (amazing), Perfume store (a little bit annoying but took just 10 minutes because the seller saw disinterest of our group :(, still got a tea :) ).
