Great Day in Cairo

Very long day but there is no choice as the travel time is long. 2 rest stops on the way and one returning so it’s fine. Everything as described and well organized except there was no trip to bazaar but trips to papyrus factory and perfume factory as well. It would be nice to spend more time at the museum instead of the two factories as these are clear selling opportunities. The guide was fun and personable as well as knowledgeable. All in all a can’t miss experience.

Schrecklich! Ich wurde nie abgeholt! Ich habe 3 Stunden in der Lobby auf die Abholung gewartet und niemand kam! Der Nummer die angegeben war, hatte ich noch geschrieben. Bis heute habe ich keine Antwort bekommen! Über Paypal versuche ich nun mein Geld wenigstens zurückzubekommen. Ich hoffe wenigstens das klappt!

A viagem de ida demora 7 horas. Após a chegada ao Cairo, são dadas duas possibilidades, andar de barco no Nilo ou ficar à espera 50 minutos no autocarro por aqueles que vão realizar a atividade. É um esquema para obrigar as pessoas a fazerem o passeio de barco. O mesmo acontece na visita às pirâmides, a qual só se realiza por volta das 14:30. À chegada são dadas 3 possibilidades: 1- Visitar o interior de uma das pirâmides; 2- Andar de carroça ou camelo por 15/20 euros pessoa; 3- Ficar ao sol durante 2:30 horas. Como desaconselham a 1.ª e como ninguém quer ficar ao sol durante tanto tempo, todos optam pela 2.ª opção. Esta visita às pirâmides afinal demora apenas 1:30 horas, o que significa que o argumento "2:30horas ao sol" é usado de forma coerciva para ser cobrado mais dinheiro. Note-se que a viagem inclui uma visita a uma loja de perfumes e outra a uma loja de papiros que demoram, no total, cerca de 1:30horas enquanto que a visita ao museu arqueológico demora apenas 1 hora. A viagem de regresso demora 6 horas.

Es war ein unglaublicher Tag in Kairo und Gize. Unser Reiseführer war der Beste! Humorvoll, ehrlich und mit Leidenschaft dabei. Die Organisation hat sich gut an den Zeitplan gehalten. Leider wurde nicht erwähnt, dass man einzelne Attraktionen extra zahlen musste. Deswegen nehmen Sie genug Geld mit (auch für Souveniers).
