Our spa day began with a little flexibility training. Despite having a confirmed booking, our appointment was moved two hours earlier due to limited late pick-ups from Safaga, along with an unexpected €5 cash charge per person for the transfer. The driver then arrived 15 minutes late, which at least gave us extra time to adjust expectations.
The transfer itself became an exercise in risk management. We insisted on wearing seatbelts—an apparently ambitious request—given that only two of the four seatbelts were functional. This caused visible inconvenience to the driver. On the return journey, the same issues reappeared, compounded by the fact that the driver had no idea how to find our hotel in Safaga, requiring us to actively guide him.
Arrival at the spa was somewhat chaotic. Before anything else, there was renewed focus on collecting the remaining €10, after which we were seated on leather chairs to wait. The spa itself is located in a low socio-economic, unattractive area, not somewhere you would feel comfortable visiting independently—particularly at night—which made the reliability of transport feel especially important.
Eventually, we were guided to the locker room and introduced to the spa “experience”:
15 minutes sauna,
15 minutes Turkish bath,
15 minutes Jacuzzi.
Coming from Australia, we are used to showering before entering a Jacuzzi. This was not possible. When a Russian woman and her partner entered the Jacuzzi in bra and underwear, we made a swift exit. From a hygiene perspective, this part of the experience was disappointing.
Things improved in the wet room. We were placed on heated treatment tables and received a coconut body scrub, face mask, and an impressive amount of foam. Water was poured using a very manual system—tap to bucket, bucket to bowl, bowl to body. The scrub was enthusiastic, and after the coconut was rinsed off I noticed a burning sensation on my back, suggesting it may have been too abrasive.
After a short rest, one of the supervising staff suggested we could “feed his fish because they were hungry”—the well-known skin-eating fish. We declined further exfoliation.
The highlight of the visit was the massage. It was genuinely excellent—professional, respectful, and attentive to modesty. The therapists were clearly skilled. It was also clear they were expecting a tip, reinforced by both waiting outside the locker room afterward. They did receive one, as the massage itself was very good.
We then had to wait for the Russian couple before being driven back to Safaga.
Overall:
There are elements of quality here, particularly the massage, but significant improvements are needed in hygiene, noise levels during relaxation periods, and safe, reliable transport—especially given the spa’s location in an area you would not want to navigate alone after dark.
An experience we will certainly remember—if not necessarily repeat.

The experience was good, as were the treatments. The massage was great. The only thing that let it down was there was a small child in the relaxation area on a phone with it playing quite loud which took away from the relaxing atmosphere. Worth it for the price.

It was worth every penny! I was first offered the mixed (men and women) section (which is for tourists) but I wanted to be in the female only one. This was promptly facilitated and the experience was great. It was exactly as described bar they didn’t offer a hot drink only a water (which was fine). Iman was my masseuse and she was excellent so do ask for her if you want a very good relaxing massage. I also had a very nice driver Karim who picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel. Be sure to tip the staff well if you enjoyed the experience as this is custom in Egypt.

Booked through the Viator app due to the reduced cost compared to our hotels cost of the same package, The reviews were mainly 5 star qnd it didn't disappoint. From booking to being dropped back to our hotel, the service we received was exemplary 😁. Mohamed was very quick to confirm our booking and kept us informed at all times, even after our session, he checked if we were happy. Special mention to the staff at the spa who were so welcoming, attentive, made you comfortable and give great massages. No pressure at any point to purchase extra which was very refreshing. We would definitely recommend and are thinking of returning ourselves in the time we're here in Hurghada 🥰

Excellent service provided for the price. The facilities were modern and clean. I had Radha for my hammam/massage session and she was very considerate through the whole process. The whole activity was precise and the agent remained in contact from the time of booking to the drop off at the hotel. Could not ask for a better service and recommend to anyone wanting an authentic, traditional Turkish spa experience.

Encore merci ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
