Saw a lot of area but can’t fully recommend

It’s a full day and you do see a lot. Our tour guide moved us from one activity/location to another with knowledge of where to go. However, her English was difficult to understand and so she wasn’t as conversational or able to provide historical context. The first stop - at a bamboo factory - was basically a live informercial and store. Total waste of time. The boats on the river, starting larger and then smaller was a good way to see the area at water level. But much of the trip seemed to be geared to sell items to tourists. The drive was long and the driver won’t go at the speed of traffic. We opted to end before the pagoda because we had already been on the for tour 8 hours. It was fully private - just my husband and myself, Mary (tour guide) and driver who transported us from city to large boat area. There was some extended time spent waiting for boat on return. I’m glad I was able to see the area but would not choose this particular tour again.
