Mekong delta and cu chi tunnels

The Cu Chi tunnels were very interesting and worth visiting if you are interested in the history of Vietnam. On the same trip we travelled for a long time to the Mekong Delta. Such a disappointment!! The boat trip was like being on a factory conveyor belt of locals who paddled up and down a dirty polluted section of river along which were numerous market stalls selling cheap plastic tourist trinkets. Don't waste your time! I'm sure there are nice sections but this wasn't one of them!

I really loved this tour! The tour guide was really flexible and accommodated me. My flight was re-scheduled and really made an effort to go out of his way for me to still be able to do the tour at a later time. Cu chi tunnels was my favorite- a must see!
