This tour was worth every penny! From the foods to the experiences, everything was great! It showed us how the locals make a living and their determination to survive. We got to try different fresh fruits. You could tell that our guide, Viet was very proud of his country and his countrymen. He told us stories from his childhood growing up in the area. We also enjoyed the night market in Can Tho and the very modern and comfortable hotel we stayed in. The visit to the floating market the following morning was a different experience altogether. Overall, it was an enjoyable tour made better by having Viet as our capable guide.

This was an awesome experience! You got a lot for your money. (Including 5 star hotel for price of 3 star—- best hotel so far in Vietnam we have stayed at) Our tour guide Dian was absolutely incredible, he was so intelligent and gave awesome information. He was upbeat and encouraged everyone to be a family. He also was funny! This tour truly has it all. Temples, island tours, village tours, food tours, cooking class and also free time with great recommendations. And a great way to see Can Tho city too! Shout out to the driver as well for amazing safe driving. This was an unforgettable trip and I would do this tour every time I come to Vietnam. DO NOT PASS ON THIS TOUR! You should do it! Great way to get out of Saigon for a little bit!

Luxury local culture & food tour in The Mekong River

This tour was even better than expected. Everything is included. The Hotel we stayed in was luxurious even with no extra money. Thanks to Linda we had a perfect combination of local experience and food tasting. We could see bigger floating market as long as small canal full of locals. We could bike a few times. We visited the rice noodles factories, the coconut factories. You also have a free night in Can Tho where you can enjoy the street food market, the lighting in the city and explore some locals crafts & restaurants. Among the tastings: so many different fruits, coconut water, sugar cane, Vietnamese pancakes, rice noodles pizza, coconut/snake/banana wine. We also had coconut candies, a honey tea and chips. The two lunch included are a festin. On top of that, the young Linda is an amazing tour guide. Giving just the right amount of information, leaving you space but also here for your questions. Can’t have better host! Thanks Linda

Happy to recommend the 2 day Mekong Delta and Cai Rang floating market tour. Our guide (Harry) was knowledgeable, friendly and communicative, and was able to explain the context and background of the activities. I was a solo traveller, and the rest of the group were all couples, but it didn't feel awkward. Some of the tour was a little "touristy", but you have to recognise that that's the only way things like the floating market still survive. Overall, a great experience.

With an interesting drive down to the Delta, the two days were jam packed with activities, some better than others but all I'm glad to have been able to do. Our tour guide, Ben was great. Very knowledgeable and informative.

This day trip had everything! As a small group, we explored small towns, local food and music, toured the Mekong Delta on a larger boat, on kayaks, and bikes! Took a cooking class, too. It flowed well and our tour guide Tom was exceptional! Would highly recommend.

We all enjoyed the tour. There was a moment the rains came in and you would think…Oh no we are about to get soaked! However, it was the perfect effect. It made me think hard about the conditions the soldiers had to endure. This is a must if you visit the country.

Mekong River Disaster

The positives: 1) It was a small group of seven people as opposed to a large tour group: 2) the local food production tour was informative; and 3) the cooking lesson and local seafood was great. The negatives: 1) Our kayak tour was cancelled due to the low afternoon tide; 2) the bikes available for the bike tour were old, un maintained and frankly hazardous.; and 3) the tour guide was totally unprofessional in his behavior and speech. He yelled back at one of the older members in our group —who was upset that his wife fell off her bike— as all the bikes had some issue (misaligned wheels, broken pedals, non functional brakes). My son’s bike had broken pedals and mine had only one functional brake. The worst part was he was so hot headed he abandoned us toward the end of the bike tour and we had to figure out how to return to the camp by ourselves. Also forewarning it’s a long two and a half hour drive each way mostly in traffic and congestion. Lastly the Mekong river was a disappointment— too much floating plastic everywhere. Wish it could be cared be cared for at the same level as the streets of Ho Chi Minh.

Conform to description but disappointing

Even if the tour was conform to the description, it was disappointing overall. The biking and the kayaking are done in the same place so you see twice the same thing. And you do kayak in a residential area which is quite ugly to be honest. There is no point in doing kayak if it is not to see something interesting. Also, we thought that the boat tour was in the mangroves as shown on the pictures. But, in fact, you stay all the time in the canals next to residential areas. Also, at one point, you are forced to listen to traditional music singers, which is quite awkward , and then force to tip them. In a nutshell I didn't really enjoy the tour and I wouldn't recommend it.

We were only with 4 people, so it was almost like a private tour. Ele was a very friendly guide who gave lots of information about the places we were going and also about Vietnam and specifically about Saigon. Only downside was that the places we visited, people were very pushy to sell their stuff. This made it uncomfortable sometimes. Still, I would recommend the tour, as the benefits outperform the negatives. The biking, the different boat rides, etc. were all very charming and calming.

Its not worth 38 dollars. The tour guide Chung and a van were only worth of money, but the tour was total garbage and tourist trap. Its written that tips are not mandatory, but everyone asks for tips. Everything was pretty much staget. Spend your money on something smarter.

Enjoyed an amazing day trip to the Tunnels and Mekong delta . We were only a group of 5 people and our excellent guide and driver . This made it even more special . The Tunnels were really interesting and the Mekong trip was beautiful scenery and great experience .
