Itinerary

Following pickup from downtown hotels, depart in the morning for Guangzhou’s must-see attractions. The first stop on your full-day sightseeing itinerary is Huangcheng Square, aka Flower City Square. Stroll around this shopping destination and get a first glimpse of Canton Tower across the Pearl River. Later you’ll get up close for photo ops of the 1,969-foot-high (600-meter) structure, the tallest TV tower in the world.

Arriving at the Guangdong Province Museum in Zhujiang New Town, wander through exhibits featuring some 160,000 pieces on display. Next, take photos outside of the Guangzhou Opera House, considered the largest performance center in southern China.

Later, visit the Pearl River-InPub International Beer Museum, which stands on the shores of the namesake river. Admire glitzy features such as a beer barrel guarded by two colorful glass buildings. Then continue by coach to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, a shopping mecca where you can browse or simply soak up the lively atmosphere.
