Same price as buying on your own!

Tyler_K, Nov 2025
Same price as buying it on your own, so might as well earn some points and viator credit as well for booking.

Good purchase

Wonderful pass to have. allowed our family to move through the region with ease. However, it does not include the top of Europe.

Pass works great. Highly recommend to print your ticket at home before travel

Benny_S, Jun 2025
The pass is about the same price as Jungfrau website. However, purchasing through Viator let me earn points on this reservation. It’s a win win! The QR code that I was given worked. I highly suggest that you print the QR code and have them with you. We bought 3 days pass. On day 1 of my trip, I was able to see the QR code ticket on Viator. On day 2 and 3 , the trip was changed to past trip and I was unable to see QR code. I was glad I printed them out.

Lovely experience

Absolutely worth it. The pass is really useful and covers almost all places including train rides, cable cars and ferry. Even for those it doesn’t include, it gets you discount. So it is worth the price.

Very Useful but not perfect

Scott_L, Sep 2019
We purchased the Jungfrau pass knowing it did not include "the Top of Europe"...ok..we excepted and knew that going in. BUT we were under the understanding that everything else in the area was included.... but it's not... we had to pay extra when going up to Schilthorn.. then we tried to go to gimmelwald, we were told the pass was not valid...so we changed our plans just so we wouldnt pay any additional fees.got annoyed with these "suprises"

We had a 6 day pass and .I worked out in advance that there would be savings . It saved having to buy tickets each day. In addition when there are wet days you are likely to use it more for example on the boats on the lakes which we did.

Great value

Greg_M, Aug 2019
Purchasing the 4 day pass was one of the best things we did for our vacation. Having the pass made every trip easy (no standing in line for tickets) and we found we saved a great deal of money over single trip tickets. Thanks!!

Very convenient

Gran0la71, Jul 2019
This pass is very convenient if you want to do a lot of hiking in the Jungfrau region. One caveat: it is not entirely clear which cave cars/ mountain trains aren’t covered. e.g., Pfingstegg, lower sections of the Schilthorn: Allmendhubel to Mürren even though Mürren to Lauterbrunnen is covered. It should be stated somewhere on the pass/ map that only those connections that are shown in the map are covered.

Money saving

Bought a 5 day pass before travelling, easy to pick up at railway station. This pass saved us a lot of money because we did a lot with it

DOUGLAS F, Oct 2017
Amazing scenery. If you love hiking, mountains and riding unique trains it is worth spending 3-5 days in this area and buying the Jungfrau region travel pass. It only covers this immediate area, and the boat rides on the lakes are not covered with 3-4 day passes only 5 or more, so plan accordingly. Also note that many of these railways are closed during winter, some opening late May.

AKASupahighway, Sep 2017
Excellent value for money as it covers pretty much all trains into the mountains except last leg of Jungfrau. We used it extensively over all 3 days, would recommend getting this if you're in Interlaken for 3-6 days.

We had the 6 day pass. We used it extensively getting from town to town as well as the different trail heads. The initial expense was well worth it not only for the value but also in time saved as we hopped from train to train to boat to gondola without having to buy tickets for each.

It was great to have the pass and just hop on a train or boat to get around. Well worth it!!

Expensive but if planning on a lot of travel it saves time and money. However if only planning on the odd trip with time spent walking then probably not worth the money.

Jacob L, Aug 2016
For most of the trip, the rail pass worked very well. However, Viator stated in an email that having a digital version of the pass on your phone was sufficient, but on the third day of using the pass, a train conductor was very displeased that I had not exchanged the voucher for an official rail pass. In the future, Viator should make it more clear that one must submit a printed version of the voucher to a rail office in the Jungfrau region.

The worthiness of the tour is...

KaWa_C, Aug 2016
The worthiness of the tour is greatly affected by the weather -- I got the 3-day pass but it was raining/snowing heavily in 2 out of the 3 consecutive days. but the pass is very inflexible. I could not keep it 'on hold' for 1 day and postpone my visits well, I could, just pay for everything again Basically what I could see from the top was complete whiteness.

Terri H, Jun 2016
This was an awesome deal. I used every train, gondola, tram there was and I had perfect weather! The only thing I thought was with a three day tour we get 50% off for a boat ride around the lakes but that wasn't true. Nevertheless worth every penny with this three day pass! Would do it again!!!
