GOLD COAST (OOL) INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL PROCEDURE All arriving passengers are to collect their luggage, clear through customs and proceed toward the glass sliding exit doors at the northern end of the terminal. Passengers are to wait inside the terminal under the Transit Centre Sign until a driver makes contact. Passengers are expected to actively look for the bus branded with Con-x-ion insignia and to keep an eye out for your driver who will be wearing a blue shirt and red Con-x-ion hat. If you require assistance, the Gold Coast Tourism Visitor Information Centre is located in the terminal opposite the car rental booths for assistance, otherwise please phone. This is our story. You advised 6pm pick up from the airport. That was what we wanted, good.
Unfortunately Conn-x-ions somehow had us on the 7pm. Oh boy.
It took us 2 .5 hours to get to the apartment from when we cleared Customs.
What happened?
That is why we are giving a Terrible rating and not sure if we would use Viator again.

We were a little late getting from baggage claim due to a lost bag and thanks to viator not actually passing our booking on to the bus company they didn’t know to wait or look for us. Upon ringing the bus company they bent over backwards to help us. Of the four separate t/port bookings we made through viator only one had been passed on. Viator=0 star Bus company=5 star. Will not book t/fers through viator again

The trip that I booked for 9am was not updated by the agent to con-x-ion and I was not on the list for pickup. Asked to wait till 11am but was too late for us and hence decided to cancel this. Did not want to wait at airport for 2 hrs. Refund also taking quite long to be confirmed even though we did not take the ride. Please expedite on the refund.

The most memorable part of this awful experience was finding ourselves stuck at the airport without our booked and paid transport available. The Connection Company knew nothing about us as they had never received our booking. We expect nothing less than our fare refunded and we will never use this booking platform again. Be warned. Trip advisor comments next

Took a while to find the driver, some signage directing to the coach and driver would be an idea. I realise there are a lot of operators at the airport at any one time and that does not help the situation. Overall a good experience.

THe main issue was that in the small print it said to meet at a cafe - a new location in sept but it didn't say sept when so not sure if it was up to date. Guy was hard to find as well but ok when we managed to make contact.

It was fantastic really. I arrived with no check in luggage. The viator driver was easy to find and exactly where told. I was one of two guests for pick up. The other arrived within 5 minutes and we were on our way. You could not have gotten quicker service with a chauffer driven car. Highly recommended.

The tour was very good! The shuttle waited for us even though we arrived a bit late. It was a big spacious shuttle bus with a friendly driver! :) Would definitely recommend if you don't mind spending a bit more than public transport.
