This was a fantastic experience and would be perfect to do with friends, tour groups, or even with a family. It could even be fun to start the night at Tribe on a stag or hen party. It is operated by locals from Galway so it gives you that local vibe and personal touch that makes it unique. Paul was fantastic at answering questions and making it so much fun from start to finish! I highly recommend booking this experience, you will leave with your very own bottle of gin, and memories that will last forever!

Our hosts, two of the founders of Tribe Gin, shared their origin story and a bit of Irish history to answer our questions, all while guiding us through the process of selecting botanicals and distilling our own bottle of gin. It was a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and they served us gin and tonics and provided us with a meat and cheese board. This experience was the highlight of our trip so far! Highly recommend!

I loved it all. Such fun, but we also learned how to make our own individual bottles of Gin which we rook home. Haven't tried it yet so it's the gift that keeps on giving. But my god that guy can talk fast, with stories & local info

Fantastic Interactive Drinking Experience

The highlight of our trip to Ireland has been the time spent at Tribe Gin with Cieran. As he describes it, they looked to create an “interactive drinking experience” for people, and that they did!! We not only learned about the gin making process but about the Irish language, history and culture. Cieran was a great host with abundant drinks and snacks flowing all evening, while we immersed ourselves in the botanicals to create our very own gin recipe. Can’t wait to enjoy our personally made Gin when we return to the US. Highly recommended you check out the Tribe Gin experience, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Best experience in Galway

I really can't express how much fun this was! We were lucky and we're the only 2 people signed up for our day and so we basically got a personal tour through the gin making. I can't say the bigger classes will be as personalized as ours, but Kieran did a wonderful job not only helping teach us, but also tell us about Galway and the Aran Islands. He was born and grew up on the Aran islands and works as a tour guide as well so he knows a ton of the details you wouldn't otherwise know. With the gin tasting, we got all the free gin and tonics we wanted and a large charcuterie board. He showed us all the ingredients we could add and let us customize what went into our gin. He also looked at our list (when we asked) and gave us the thumbs up that our combo made sense and guessed what the overall flavor profile would be. As a side note, I highly recommend their gin even if you can't do the experience. They're still a startup so it's not widely available, but it blows most more expensive gins I've tried out of the water. Really good value for the quality.

We had a wonderful time! It was fun and educational. A great atmosphere. Ciaran was a great host and made everyone feel like family. He knows his stuff. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.
