Pickup details
Meeting Point: Befu Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line. The workshop venue is a 5-minute walk from this station. The station is equipped with escalators and elevators. At the meeting time, the host will be holding a poster with the “Experience Japan Studio” logo. There is only one ticket gate at the Station, so I will be waiting for you there with your nameboard. Befu Station is located about a 7-minute train ride from the central area of Fukuoka City and approximately a 20-minute walk from the popular Ohori Park.

This Calligraphy Workshop was a fun, educational, and enjoyable experience. It was one of the highlights of my trip and I strongly recommend booking it if space is available.
The Host (Shu) communicated with me beforehand to ask about the name to be written during the Workshop. Her time to prepare and research was extremely helpful since I could immediately start learning how to write the name I selected. She thoughtfully provided light refreshments and made sure it was a relaxing session (to encourage creativity). She also provided a personalized poster (with the name I selected) in a frame as a keepsake.
I’m glad that I had this opportunity to attend this Caligraohy Workshop!
