Our guide Beni was amazing! We had a fantastic time and he was so informative. One of the best tours I’ve taken around the world, no joke. Our driver Oscar was wonderful as well and they a great job coordinating the tour.
What an amazing tour! Luis, our guide, was so knowledgeable and enhanced our experience. Plus, he took us to all the places where we could take spectacular photos of all the pyramids. You’re definitely in lucky if you get him. Our bus was clean and had a/c. The food was okay.

We were planning to go to Tikal on our own but after reading reviews, decided to hire a guide. We are so happy we decided to. Our guide Eddie really made our visit enjoyable. He is so knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We learned so much that enhanced the experience. Eddie was patient and encouraged questions. The bus was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned and our driver Jason handled the roads with ease. This was the highlight of our Guatemala trip and we will definitely book with Grey Line again.
The tour was very good. We were picked up on time and given ample time to roam about on our own. The tour guide Eddy was very knowledgeable and was very clear when communicating with the group.
The only problem was that in trying to get in contact with the tour company via their website and email address they were unresponsive and I had to call to confirm pick up place and time.

Our tour was definitely one of he best that I have been on during my travels and use of guided tours. The transit was comfortable both in the vehicle outfitting and in the driver's care for the road. With that beautiful setting to watch as we drove it was quite an almost therapeutic drive. The monuments and what was been uncovered of the ancient city is breathtaking. The works of the Mayan people leave me inspired and filled with reverence. Guatemala has done a fabulous job of restoration. Finally, our tour guide, Wilson, was absolutely the best ever. He were the only English speakers in a Spanish speaking tour group. He graciously performed bilingual narrative throughout. During the tour he gave us lots of time to walk and enjoy the setting. No rushing from here to there. And he has a passion and a deep knowledge about what he shared with us. He was informative, charming, and quite enjoyable to listen to. I have been on a dozen or so guided day trips in different parts of the world and Wilson was so far the best I have experienced. Great guide. Great tour.
Tikal is absolutely amazing and you simply cannot go to Guatemala without seeing this jewel. The programme of the tour, the organisation and the tour guide were all great and this tour was worth every single penny paid.
Tikal was a year ago. It was my second time there. This time I took my adult son. The tour was quite interesting as I remember. It did not cover several structures I covered the first time, but we were on an OAT tour with our own guides. This tour covered a good bit....probably enough fir most people.
Our tour guide was excellent and explained everything very clearly. Kind of a large group so I stuck by him to make sure I didn't miss anything because Tikal is so fascinating.
The tour was amazing, it was made super special because we had a great tour guide! Erdozain was so knowledgeable and had such a great energy! He taught us about the vegetation, wildlife and also the ruins! Highlights for us we're seeing all the birds, animals and taking short cuts through the jungle
In general this tour was awesome, the park is majestic and the guide was knowledgeable but I didn't over load your brain with useless information. My only big complaint is that the tour company was an hour late from the schedule time to pick us up; they forgot to pick us up until I called.
We loved this tour! Erdo, our tour guide, was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We learned so much on this tour we were sad to say goodbye at the end. It's worth the money. Lunch was great, and Erdo does his best to explain as many aspects about Tikal as possible. He's also super flexible so of you want to do something, you can ask!
Erdo was an AMAZINGLY knowledgable tour guide. His excitement about Mayan civilization was palpable and I was totally invested in the history of the area. The tour itself is totally worth every penny. You get so much for you money, including a great lunch at a cafe in the rainforest and an opportunity to connect with people from all over there to enjoy the tour as much as you are. Do it!
Loved the tour and our guide. Instead of following the road he took us on trails through the jungle. His english was excellent! They picked us up promptly and made the trip fun and interesting. Lunch was great. Don't hesitate on this one. Super value!
WE loved the tour and tour guide Manuel. It was a wonderful experience. The food was OK, nothing to rave about. I just give this 4 stars, because we had so many more people with us. Some that had a hard time walking, others were sick and drove to the plaza, others wanted to climb every pyramid. Sort of unbalanced - the more people you have to accommodate the harder it gets. It was also super hot and humid, we were drenched. They also made a stop at this VERY expensive gift store with US prices. I would have rather spend my money and souvenirs at a local community.
Excellent tour. Pickup was on time and well organized. We had ample time to explore all parts of Tikal while learning very interesting facts about the history of the ancient city and seeing a variety of wild animals throughout the park. The lunch was very good as well at the end. I highly recommend going on this tour! Thanks again!
All was perfect, the only thing I disagree is to call the Tour Operator the day before to arrange pick up and time location, it would be easier to fill out the form directly when you make the reservation in Viator and all set. But the tour was awesome and the guide explained everything and lunch was ok.
Everything worked out quite well on this tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel. On the way to Tikal a stop was strategically provided for coffee and snacks. The itinerary was very organized and well thought out. The guide was very knowledgeable, professional and interesting. He provided an appropriate amount of free time to explore the area. The lunch that was included was excellent. I recommend this day tour of Tikal.

Really enjoyed the tour, and Lucas, our guide, was lovely. Informative without overloading the brain. The only hiccup was our pick-up, which was delayed by 45 minutes as they had gone to the wrong hotel. However, they picked us up and we joined the rest of the group prior to arriving at Tikal in any case.
Our guide - "Erdo" - was so knowledgeable that we learned more about the temples, pyramids, structures, history, animals in the park, birds, and plants than we ever imagined we would! Kudos to our guide!
This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide picked us up from the airport on time, took us in a nice bus and didnt stop giving us information for the next 4 hours. Highly recommended. The guides English was good and he was very knowledgeable. He took us all around the site, not only to see the Mayan ruins but also brought us to find howler monkeys and toucans. My boyfriend and I were being picked up at Tikal itself after the tour so we missed getting a mini-tour of the island which I can imagine wouldve been very enjoyable! Cannot recommend this enough.
Very professionally done. Arrived on time to pick me up, and was offered a choice of English or Spanish guide. The pace was excellent as was the info given.....and plenty of time for browsing around and also asking questions. The lunch provided was also excellent in a very nice shaded spot. Cannot fault this day at all. Highly recommended.
