Best way to learn and see Qatar’s history and beautiful architecture!

We took the private tour with Asif as our tour guide. He did an excellent job of showing us the things we wanted to see and provided history of Qatar and the evolvement of the country. He was very patient with questions and thorough with his answers. I would highly recommend him and Viator for tours.

A very interesting and educational introduction to Doha. The tour was full of highlights - falcons, camels, horses, a game of Dama, Katara Mosque - and our guide, Asif, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, courteous and good-humoured throughout our tour, despite the punishing temperature in August. We highly recommend this tour and Asif to anyone, especially first-timers to this surprising city.

I booked the tour because of the great reviews, and I got surprised with how easy was to get in touch with the guide, and meet him outside the airport. Our guide was called Sam! He is very polite, and knows a lot about Doha and other countries. The tour is very complete, he takes you to great places of the city and I advise you to tell if you have any preference, because it’s very flexible. If you like handicraft stuff and souvenirs, I recommend you to spend more time in Souq Wakif market. We didn’t have much time there, but the stores are amazing and cheap!!! :)

Great way to explore Doha if you don't have a lot of time

Yam was everything you can wish for in a tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and not on a tight schedule at all. He showed us all the best sites of the city, and gave a lot of background information. When we changed our plan on the spot to not go back to the airport, but book a hotel in the city instead, he even dropped us off at the front door.

My guide Amar was great company for this amazing tour. There is no way I would have learnt so much about Doha without Amar. His knowledge of the area and willingness to tailor the tour, on the fly, to my taste was great. A very surprising morning which left a lasting impression on me. Doha is like no where else I could even image.

The perfect tour to see Doha! We had a long layover and wanted to make sure we had a chance to see the city highlights. Yam picked us up in a Land Cruiser right outside the airport terminal and we are off. In a little over 4 hours we got to see the entire area. FIFA stadiums. Man made islands. Incredibly beautiful views of the skylines with their dancing lights. The old market with its many vendors and amazing local food! Yam was very personable and very knowledgeable about the city and all of its inner workings. Highly recommend this tour if your in the area.

The tour was a great way to see Doha. Our guide Puskar was enthusiastic and knowledgeable - he provided a very good overview of Doha's development and living in Doha, and a very good insight into the history and culture of Qatar. The tour was relaxed, comfortable, and flexible, and overall it was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in the city and are interested in learning about Doha and it's people.

We did the transit tour while having a 10 hour layover. Yam was our tour guide and he was fantastic!!! He was very knowledgeable and patient, and was early as well so we didn’t have to wait. He was very thorough in his explanation and even waited for us when we were shopping for souvenirs. I would definitely recommend this tour and have Yam to take you around the city of Doha!
