We had a fantastic time! Our skipper was great, he made us feel relaxed and safe with some entertaining stories/facts along the way. The weather made the water too choppy to see any seals or porpoise but we had a race with a guillemot. However, don't let that put you off because the scenery was spectacular and the rib ride itself was both fun and relaxing. Great when he picked up the speed and had some slower bits to fully appreciate some of those fantastic views. Would definitely revisit this or take one of the other tours. Would highly recommend! Worth every penny!

It’s very disappointing when you don’t see what you expect. I know it’s never guaranteed but we were told at the start of the trip the dolphins and whales had not been seen all week.

Hi Marie,
We completely understand how disappointing it can be not to see the wildlife you were hoping for—especially when you’re really looking forward to it.
On the day of your trip, most of our boats were able to spot porpoises or seals, and a couple were lucky enough to see dolphins as well. We’re also seeing some fantastic seabirds at the moment, including guillemots, gannets and cormorants, which are usually a highlight of the experience.
Wildlife sightings can vary from day to day, and while we always do our best to give you the best possible chance, we can’t guarantee what will appear. I’m also sorry if there was any confusion at the start of your trip—we don’t advertise whales in Torbay, as they’re not something we typically see here.
We really appreciate your feedback and hope you still enjoyed time out on the water.

This really is a 'Must Do'! Greg was so knowledgeable & funny! Just the RIB ride blew my mind & we got to see the first Seal of the season, along with loads of Cormorants & we even had a Gannet fly overhead - they are stunning & HUGE! Purely by chance we also got too see (but not too closely!) a Navel ship! Absolutely Awesome! Worth every penny & will definitely be doing it again. Thanks Greg!

Was really looking forward to this trip having travelled down to Devon. Disappointingly it was cancelled on the morning of the trip due to a lack of participants.

Brilliant trip with Greg who was amazing. We saw a seal and loads of dolphins. He knew exactly where to look. Indeed the dolphin whisperer. We saw cormorants, egrits and lots of other birds. The trip was soo good !!!

So great! Fast, fascinating and fun! Well organised, staff full of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm. Enjoyed the buzz from the speed of the boat and then the tranquil, surreal moments of the dolphins swimming around us. Could have been anywhere in the world, yet we were ten minutes from home. Stunning experience and a great way to celebrate my partners birthday.

We went out on the rib coastal, what an amazing experience as my coworker had never done anything like it before, its was amazing seeing the grey seals but most of all, all the dolphins. We would highly recommend it well worth every penny. Thank you.

This was a very fun ride. The guide was very fun and knowledgeable and took us to different places. We were lucky to see several wildlife birds and dolphins. Such an amazing experience and listening to bob marley was good too

This was a fantastic experience, although it we didn’t manage to see a lot of dolphins, but however Glen I think his name was, was very knowledgeable about the different wildlife of birds etc we did see, also good at keeping us happy with a good few jokes, great guy! I reccomend travelling with or without family, even toddlers, my 2 year old loved it.

Amazing love every minute myself and my son had the best time ever. Learned about the history of the places and saw seals and dolphins we weren't disappointed definitely did it again next year for my 60th.

The skipper was very knowledgeable, he made everyone feel at ease, and he continually checked throughout the experience. Some fantastic view of the landscapes and rock formations.
