First, the good:
The bikes were nice, worked well.
Scenery was beautiful. The first half of the trip was downhill.
Adrian picked us up on time from our hotel. We stopped at a cute little shop about halfway and had sugarcane juice, very delicious.
Also, Adrian had an e-bike that saved my life for the difficult part.
Some things you should know:
There are some very difficult uphill portions, one on a highway with traffic. I would only recommend this to athletic people.
Also, we did not visit Cajas national park on this ride. It was not part of the tour even though it was in the description.
At times, dogs chased us down on the bikes. Some were cute and some were mean.
Overall, four hours is a very long time to ride a bike. I would recommend making this tour shorter and ending before the uphills.
Thank you for everything!

It was a great way to see the countryside! And the views were amazing! Adrian was friendly and informative about the area, and a great bike mechanic. We were not expecting mountain bikes with electronic assist, but it sure was appreciated since we were not yet acclimated to the altitude. Next time we hope to spend more time in Cajas National Park, but some roads there were blocked by mudslides so we went to a different valley.
