Viator has a US help number where someone I can understand actually answers. When my driver was late Viator contacted him, got me an ETA, and offered to check me into my flight (I was in Ecuador at the time) Super helpful and available!

I arrived at my destination as planned; however, the guide drove like a NASCAR driver. He passed other vehicles under unsafe circumstances that made me scared for my safety.

Dear Denise, thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you felt unsafe. However, I need to mention that our drivers are safe drivers, we have been getting people around more than 6 years successfully. Maybe driving the the curvy narrow roads and fog made you feel like that, but that is the way it is unfortunately and our drivers are experienced and used to that. Our drivers drive always under the speed limits since all vehicles have radar and are monitored permanently.

Steven, the driver, was absolutely excellent. We talked about music and singers from my country and played some of my favorite songs the whole trip, which I enjoyed very much. He even stopped so I could take pictures and appreciate the beautiful mountain view from Cuenca. I had a great experience.

The trip itself was good. Bad roads, two car accidents to negotiate, heavy traffic- the driver did well with all of that.
But the local company was terrible with communication. They didn’t confirm pickup place or time. Local phone for them is Spanish only. Hotel desk clerk called the evening befy, they couldn’t give information , said they would call back in an hour. Didn’t. Another call finally got him the information

When you book the tour you provide the pick-up location and time and everything is confirmed at the time of booking, you receive an email with the confirmation and voucher. Unfortunately, when you call our English speaking agent was not available. Later our agent confirmed re-confirmed the pick-up.
