Simon and his crew took an ordinary birthday vacation and turning it into a birthday adventure to never forget. Soaring with the birds and the thermals was truly something I cannot even express with words. They were very professional from start to finish. They clearly explained everything the safety procedures and everything that would be required of me to do (which was basically just enjoy my flight). If you’re even remotely considering this, don’t even think about it, just book it! I promise, you will not regret it. 51st birthday is now the one to beat!

An amazing experience whether young or more mature. Special thanks to Mike, my pilot, who held my trust and confidence, was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and gave very clear instructions. The team were friendly and the service was great. A great way to see some of the island from the air.

I took my 8 year old son paragliding. Harry was apprehensive and nervous before we went and so was I for my son because I had never done it before either. We had been watching the paragliders from our hotel.
Simon from Airsport Tenerife Paragliding collected us from our hotel. It was obvious as soon as we met Simon that he was very experienced and knew what he was talking about. We went to collect another customer and the other pilots. Simon put my son at ease and I could see that Harry was excited. Simon said that he would personally take Harry. My pilot was Gigi, an ex Romanian special forces gentleman. Also highly experienced, explained everything and gave fantastic commentary throughout the flight.
We both thought the flight was amazing and cannot wait to do it again. One of the best experiences ever and would recommend these guys without any hesitation. In conclusion an experience you will never forget.

It was a great experience meeting the team and Alona picked me up at the exact time and location, which is very reassuring. She's such a vibrant and energetic person and she made me feel very welcomed in the beginning. She also have me a lot of tips around the Island.
Then I met the whole pilot team, they are all very profession and you can see the they are really passionate about their work and empathetic to first timers.
Gigi ( hope I spelt his name correct) was my pilot and instructor, I felt really reassured and the whole takeoff was really smooth and successful. Up until the final landing it got a little bit intense but he managed to keep me calm and we landed just fine. The whole trip up in the air was very peaceful and stable, this is my first time doing paragliding and I already loved it. I would really recommend first timers to try it.

Amazing experience, would do it again. My mum enjoyed this for her 50th birthday and she will never forget it. A must if you are an adrenaline junkie like us. It isn’t for the faint hearted so if you do not like heights do not do this and I would reccomend to wear a jumper as it does get cold on the flight. The pilot and crew were so friendly and made the experience even better . So much fun.

But the first attempt to fly out was unsuccessful - I fell, hit my tailbone and injured my leg.

Hi Natalia,
I’m happy you enjoyed it and I remember us chatting about it after your flight. I would like to point out however, that the aborted first takeoff attempt was because you totally failed to run and sat down after about three steps. that is why you as you say hit your tailbone and injured your leg, not that there was any visible injur. But as i pointed out to you at that time you did not run as required during the launch when your pilot told you too. No matter how good our pilots are they cannot run for the passenger if they just sit down. As you know yourself, you did fantastically well on the second attempt and took off effortlessly. So please don’t hesitate to paraglide again whenever you get the chance because now you know how to do it correctly.

Absolutely amazing adventure. We were picked up outside of our hotel at 10am. From here we were driven to our destination it the mountains, about 20mins away. We were then introduced to Simon and his team who were very experienced in their field. After safety information and equipment secured we took to the skies, the flight was breathtaking, the views even more so. The flight lasted around 15mins after which we landed on the beach. On the day of our flight it was my partners birthday and at the end of the flight he was surprised with a bottle of bubbly. A lovely gesture and so appreciated. Well done Simon and team.

Paragliding was such a fun and beautiful experience — truly once in a lifetime! The views were breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was exciting and unforgettable.
The instructors were friendly and made me feel safe throughout the experience. They did explain the process, but the briefing felt a bit rushed — I wish there had been a bit more preparation and guidance before takeoff.
That said, safety seemed like a priority. They take photos during takeoff and landing, which helps document everything in case something goes wrong. Plus, you’re given a GoPro to capture your flight, which is a really nice touch!
Overall, it was an amazing adventure. Just a little more detailed prep would’ve made it perfect.

I was nervous to book this because how does one know if it's going to be too much? Despite the uncertainty, I took the chance, and I'm so glad I did. Lucas and Aloyna picked me up right on time (along with their really cute little dog that helped with calming the nerves). They both had the perfect demeanor to quell any 2nd guessing. We started at 745 meters, and Lucas flew us up to 928 meters. His directions and instructions were calm and clear through the whole flight. Thanks to his skill and thermal assists, we were able to fly for 25 incredible awe-filled minutes. He flew us close to the mountains for a while before heading us down to the sea and to our smooth landing on the beach. Both the take off and landing were so much easier and less stressful than I ever could have imagined. Lucas customized the amount of thrill, and kept it on the conservative side for my first-time sensitivties. He did an amazing job, and I highly recommend Lucas as your pilot. You're extremely lucky if he's the man you're trusting for this adventurous experience!

This was an absolutely amazing experience and I’m not just saying that!!! First, when arranging a pickup I got texts the day before letting me know extra information about the gliding which was awesome. Then when getting picked up I got called from a very nice person with an awesome dog “Shake”. Second, they made sure I understood what to do when running off the cliff and it made me not nervous at all. Lastly, the glider I went with was absolutely amazing and told me about the town as we went down, and was a true professional.

It was my first time in Tenerife but I knew I wanted to do something extreme.
I came across this Paragliding experience with Airsports through this site and after having read what was on offer, I immediately knew I wanted to do this. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
They are very communicative and get in touch if anything needs to be told before your experience.
It was great that they offered a pick up service from your hotel. The very lovely Alona drove us up to our take off point with the team, which was was a great sightseeing experience on its own!
However, the excitement really kicked in when we reached our take off point on the hillside. I was extremely lucky to have Lukasz as my pilot for the experience. He was very thorough with his safety checks and at no point did I think my well being was not cared for. Lukasz was also great at making sure I was looking forward to the paragliding ride.
Once we took off I could tell he was an experienced pilot and would do everything to make our time in the air a great one.
The views of the Tenerife coastline were absolutely breathtaking and the weather just made our flight even more magical. We had enough altitude during our flight that we could fly out over the sea and then perform some aerobatic twirls, which just made the whole ride better than I could have imagined. Our landing on volcanic sand beach was so soft and easy that you felt like going up again.
It was one of the best experiences of my life and I have no hesitation in saying I would do this again with Airsports whenever I am back in Tenerife!

It was an initially daunting experience but Lukasz did a great job explaining to me what I need to do to ensure a smooth take-off and Landing. He even sang me happy birthday 900ft in the air lol. He was very knowledgeable about what one might do depending on how weather conditions varied. I believe he's had about 700 flights so he's vastly experienced He took me up in to the clouds so high I could literally touch the sky. I' would also like to shout out the lady who was our driver to the flight point . She's trilingual , warm , funny and very social able . All in all a wonderful experience I'll be sure to enjoy again the next time I'm in Tenerife

I booked the paragliding for a Tuesday, however because of weather conditions they kindly accommodated us sooner on Sunday. Aliona picked me and my wife from the hotel. The experience was amazing, and I'm scared of height. The pilots Lukasz and Maik very professional.
I highly recomment this when in Costa Adeje.
