What a fantastic culinary tour! Our guide Celia was knowledgeable, witty and passionate about food and the local history and culture. As we walked through the colouring streets of beautiful Kinsale, every stop came with an interesting story, lots of laughs and plenty of delicious food. Thank you Celia! Food tour is a must!!

Anne_S, Aug 2026
We have done food tours in many cities, and this one in Kinsale was by far one of the best mainly due to our Tour Guide Celia. She was knowledgeable and a grand storyteller. Stories were fun yet detailed and her beautiful Irish dialect kept us riveted and entertained given what could have been an average tour. The food choices were full and flavorful and highlighted a variety of the local small restaurants. She shared her attention evenly amongst the group and made sure everyone felt comfortable and never rushed. Can’t say enough about what this tour added to our trip to Kinsale.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hello Anne, Thank you for your wonderful review! It truly makes us happy and reflects what we strive for. We are thrilled to have Celia as one of our guides; she brings warmth and fun to the tours. We hope to see you again someday on another tour! https://www.bonner-travel.com/

Kate was a great ambassador for Kinsale. We loved our “private culinary tour”. My only recommendation would be to explain at the beginning of the tour where we are going and what to expect.

Fun Food Experience

Kenny_S, Jul 2026
The tour was a wonderful introduction to the locally sourced foods available in Kinsale accompanied by the general history of the area. Our guide, Kate, was interesting and made the tour a memorable experience.

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Hello Kenny, Thank you for the great review. We are delighted you enjoyed the tour in Kinsale and I have passed the review to Kate to brighten her day. Come back and see us again one day for another tour in Ireland. Regards, Frances

Come hungry! Celia was wonderful. We enjoyed her knowledge of the area, including Cork, and her fun stories. All the stops were amazing and it’s a full meal plus!

You will not want to miss this amazing walking food tour!!

Nancy_L, Apr 2026
This tour is a MUST!! AMAZING food & beverages. Knowledgeable and EXTREMELY FRIENDLY tour guides. They started by kindly helping us with parking. Then, we were treated to lovely sausage rolls. We stopped at a store and got sweet treats and the most delicious strawberries. After that more walking and history. Followed by a lovely Irish coffee and latte in a little pub. Next, we went to a chocolate shop where the chocolates were made on the premises. You will have a hard time walking away with just a few. Our last stop was lunch. It was fabulous!! Oysters, a lovely fish soup, a salad, and the most amazing piece of fried fish. Accompanied with a glass of wine. As I said, this tour is a must. The tour guides were two of the most lovely ladies I’ve ever met. They took the time to answer our questions and explain the history of Kinsale Ireland.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Hello Nancy, Thank you for the glowing review. It was great to meet you and your fantastic son, the town loved him! I hope we see you again one day soon in the not too distant future. Kind regards,

Kate the Great

alexmeadows, Nov 2025
Our culinary tour of Kinsale was the perfect balance of delicious food and beverage along with some history of the town. Kate was an excellent tour guide - super friendly yet professional and knowledgeable. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thank you!!

Big disappointment!!!

Diane_D, Nov 2025
The tour did not show case any of the epic cuisine of Kinsale. What a complete disappointment! The food could have come from any pub, and not necessarily a good pub ! It certainly did not showcase the great chefs of Kinsale. It was the low point of our trip.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Hello Diane, I apologise that you were disappointed with the tour. The Kinsale tour, like all of our tours, is designed to provide a taste of local street food while showcasing the local flavours and charm of the town. We do not claim to feature "great chefs" from Kinsale, although we do include recommendations and suggestions for their restaurants as part of the experience. Some custom tours may include evening dining at fine restaurants, but this is only available upon request. If you come back through Kinsale, let us offer you this opportunity. Regards, Frances

Wonderful culinary walk tour of Kinsale

michelleboskovich, Oct 2025
We met at the tourist information center, which was nice our guide Celia was very punctual. And we started with her telling some active dots and stories and what the day would hold.. you can show up to this hungry. We had quite a variety of very yummy food and drinks.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you, Michael, for the wonderful review. I have passed it on to Celia to brighten her day. I hope to see you on another tour in Ireland one day. Regards, Frances

Kinsale Culinary Tour

We had a great time with Amanda for the Kinsale Culinary tour. She was fun, very knowledgable, and told great stories. She even surprised us with a special song performance. Highly recommend.

Great tour and tour guide!

Roberta_S, Sep 2025
Kinsale is a beautiful city. Cecilia our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was delicious and a nice variety.

An inside view of a gorgeous place

Elizabeth_M, Sep 2025
Kinsale is the epitome of Irish coastal towns - it has a warm welcoming spirit, beautiful location, great food and great people. We were blessed to have Margaret be our guide, but really she was like a long lost friend. For well over 3 hours she told stories, introduced us to friends and showed us awesome nooks and crannies of this special place. And the food is as good, actually better, than you’ve heard. We left not only with warm memories and full stomachs but with a great new friend. Slainte!

To think we almost missed this wonderful experience . . .

Carla_J, Sep 2025
I would give Cecelia, our tour guide (and new girlfriend) a five star rating. She took us all around town, providing 5 different culinary experiences. We loved the Irish coffee, frosted with an inch of whipped cream. She talked about the town and Irish food customs and likes, and she was genuinely interested in hearing from us. The only reason for the 4-star review is that Viator was overly communicative. About one hour before we were scheduled to meet, I was notified that our tour had been cancelled, but it turned out they were referring to a cancellation I had made the month before when I discovered we were accidentally double booked. It was very confusing and we almost missed this wonderful experience. Thank you, Celcelia!!

Best food tour!

Kathy_S, Sep 2025
Simply amazing! Amanda was the best tour guide I have ever had. Knowledgeable on the history and food.

Fun and informative

Susan_T, Aug 2025
Amanda was fantastic! Fun and informative. We learned so much history and the food was spectacular!!

Kinsale Walk, Food & Great Conversation

Tina_V, Aug 2025
We had a wonderful walk and lots of Conversation with Celia. The food was very good and varied representation of what Kinsale has to offer. The sausage rolls were delicious and the cake and Irish Coffee. Waiting to enjoy our chocolate for when we are less full! We also learned more about Kinsale than we anticipated and got some recommendations for shopping and later entertainment!

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Unique Experience

Steven_M, Jul 2025
Our tour guide Kerry was extremely knowledgeable about Kinsale, seeing she has lived most of her life here. The food was great, but the highlight of the tour was Kerry’s personal touch. We had the unique experience of being the only two taking the tour which made it that much more personal.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Hello Steven, Thank you for the excellent reveiw. We are blessed to have Kerry and your review will make her day. Come back and see us for another tour soon. Frances

We had a lovely time on the tour with Celia. Come hungry, there is lots of stops for delicious food. The tour was nicely paced, mostly flat route which made it easy for all parties to stay comfortable.

One of the best culinary tours!

Cindy_J, Jul 2025
Celia was wonderful and so knowledgeable about the town. Between the delicious food of sausage rolls, Wexford strawberries, Irish coffee, cheeses, chocolates, fish and chips, fish chowder, oyster and mushy peas, we traversed the little town learning about its history and culture. Highly recommend!

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Hello Condy, thank you for the great review. i am delighted you enjoyed it. Do come back soon as we have other tours you can enjoy. Frances

Kinsale culinary tour

Olivia_L, May 2025
Just completed the tour with Fran, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. From start to finish, the tour was thoughtfully curated and incredibly engaging. Fran didn’t just guide us through the streets—she brought the city to life through its food, history, and culture. I came for the food, but I left with a deeper appreciation for the towns heritage and people. It wasn’t just a food tour—it was a cultural experience that left me feeling more connected and inspired. If you're looking for something that goes beyond the surface, this is it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Response from Host, May 2025

Hi Olivia, Thank you so much for that wonderful review. It was so nice to get it early in the morning. Set me up for a great day! I looked for you last night at the Spaniard, but we may have left earlier. Have a wonderful time at the concert and come back again soon. x Fran

Julie_R, Apr 2025
Love, love, love this experience!! Amanda was our Guide and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! The drinks, the food, the conversations were delightful and Amanda was a wealth of information with regard to the history of Kinsale and Ireland. She even surprised us with her incredible singing! She has many talents…including author of a children’s book! I’m so glad we did this tour… I would not hesitate to book this tour!

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Thank you, Julie for this super review. We are fortunate to have Amanda on our team. I have passed the review over to her, and I know it will brighten her day. Regards, Frances

Holly_S, Mar 2025
Kerry was such a great guide! She loves what she does! We enjoyed the food and the history as well strolled through Kinsale. It was a bit rainy at the start, but the luck of the Irish was on our side. The rain ended and we had beautiful weather! Kerry made the tour so personal and even gave us prints of her paintings. Kerry is a treasure of Ireland!

Amazing and Delicious Intro to Kinsale

Deborah_D, Mar 2025
Amanda was fantastic- full of knowledge and insights…and a few surprises! We’d been to Kinsale 20 years ago and loved it but this was an amazing way to really learn about the history and modern life in Kinsale. Food was plentiful but not overwhelming. We’ve been on many good tours and I’d rate this one highly!

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Hello Deborah, Thank you for the great review. We are fortunate to have Amanda on the team. She will be delighted to get the review. Regards,
