Leaving Cork, we travel straight to Killarney town, the main town on the Ring of Kerry to soak up the atmosphere before heading down to the stunning Ross Castle on the banks of the largest lake in Killarney National Park. After a stroll around the grounds and perhaps a guided tour of the castle, we continue to the picturesque Muckross House and Gardens. This hunting lodge once accommodated Queen Victoria and its location on Muckross lake is second to none.
