The class gives you a great summary of how cognac making came to the region, the grape varieties and the process for making cognac. It also covers the topics of aromas and the development of flavours as the cognac ages. You then get to try three cognacs from the same maker of different ages to compare how the aroma and taste changes. The presenter is very knowledgeable and a nice guy. A very pleasant and worthwhile afternoon.

Jean-Luc was superior, personable, professional and knowledgeable. Jean-Luc knows his cognac. If you knew little about cognac...you will walk out knowing more about cognac, the region and how to drink the smooth caramel color deliciousness. HIs property is breathtaking and the cognac to match. Come ready to learn about cognac.

Loved this tour,the only thing which let it down was i wanted to buy some of the 30 year old cognac but unfortunately they do not sell it on site!
