What a great day. We had Amon as our guide who picked us up right on time with his brother and took us to the tour start to get measured for our bikes. Bikes were nearly new and well maintained. We ended up being the only ones on the tour which made it even that much better. We cycled through beautiful landscape for about 25km where we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. We had also had a short break at about 10km for some snacks and cold water. After lunch it was a 1km ride to the temple. The tour of the temple with Amon was great so much knowledge. Then it was back to our hotel by truck. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. You can go as fast or as slow as you like. We only ride our bikes at home once a year and did not find the ride difficult.

Breathtaking Bike Ride to a Breathtaking Temple

We were picked up at our hotel and driven to Chaing Rai Bike Tours by Amon and his brother who run the company. We were measured for sturdy mountain bikes and took off for the White Temple. We biked about 14 miles past rice fields, cows, water buffalo and small farmsteads. We were on back roads with minimal traffic occasionally riding on dirt roads. The bikes were excellent. Water and snacks were provided along the way. It was a hot day. Once we arrived Amon toured us around the White Temple. We declined lunch as we had eaten a big breakfast. Touring the countryside and ending at the temple made for a memorable day. Amon emphasized safety throughout the ride. It’s hilly at times, we biked for about two hours. Participants need to be ready for that. We’re two retirees in our sixties, and we were fine.

Incredible bike tour ( the highlight of our time in Chiang Rai) and Bee and his wife were great guides. Both very informative and we learned great things along the way. The ride was picturesque; winding through the quiet countryside in local neighborhoods, passing banana and pineapple groves, along the canal and rice paddies. Snacks and water along the way and a nice Thai lunch included at the end after visiting the White temple. I highly recommend this tour.

Just returned from this great activity run by the lovely Bee and his wonderful family. The tour was well organised with high quality equipment provided. Bee, our guide, was excellent. Friendly and informative with lots of stops to talk about the Lanna countryside. Cold drinks and snacks provided along the way followed by a delicious lunch. When in Chiang Rai, take a cycle with Bee out to the White Temple through the scenic lands. You will not regret. A big thank you to Bee!

This is a must if you are traveling to Chiang Rai. The views were so beautiful. It was a nice way to see the countryside and take a unique route to visit the White Temple. There were six of us in the group, ranging in age, guided by a lovely and informative guide who was very accomodating to additional stops from what he had already planned. Their car met us at the White Temple so you can leave any belongings in the car if needed. We stopped for snacks and lunch along the route.

This was a great trip. We were met from our hotel, had good bikes and helmets. Bee was an excellent guide with very good English. We saw rubber, rice, cotton, pineapples, teak, and lots more growing. Lovely scenery. Good snack break and pad thai for lunch. The white temple is well worth seeing. There were some hills but the bikes had easy to use gears.

Great way to see Chiang Rai country side

We did the half day tour and are a family of four (2A with 18 & 16 yr old girls). We had a great day with Amon as our guide. Pick up was efficient and on time, and the bikes were excellent, preset for our heights and the induction on how to use them was good. Amon and his team were considerate of all participants, and safety conscious. Amon was very informative about Thai culture at the rest stops with snacks and cold drinks provided along the way. We can all ride but do not ride regularly at home (hardly ever). The ride was achievable - some small hills but the bikes are 24 gears so easy enough to get up them. A lot of flat and downhill as well. A reasonable amount of fitness required but nothing too strenuous. Lunch at the local restaurant was delicious. Payment to the White Temple was included and enough time was allowed for a non rushed visit. At the end of the day, we were dropped at the bus station for our ride to Chiang Khong. Our luggage was kept safely in the support vehicle for the day. A great way to see a more rural aspect of Chiang Mai. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend. This was one activity I was very keen to do on our travels and so glad we did it. I couldn’t fault the day.

Pleasant cycle ride ride through the countryside on great bikes. White Temple is amazing and a must visit. A trip to do if you have spare time after visiting all the temples.

Gemütliche Radtour mit einem sehr freundlichen Guide uns ausgezeichneten Rädern . Etwa 25 km durch Obst und Gemüseplantagen. Keine sportliche Leistung aber dennoch macht man Bewegung und erhält Infos über Land und Leute. Zum Abschluss der sehenswerte weiße Haus. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
