Northern Thailand personalized tour
Individualized attention with a busy, very full day. Sandy provided almost continuous narration and insight. Thoroughly enjoyed our 9 hour day visiting Hill Tribe Villages, tea plantation, lunch stop, Mae Sai skywalk and Golden Triangle/Opium Museum.

Our guide and driver took...
Our guide and driver took us to visit a beautiful tea plantation, a border town for shopping, lunch and a boat ride at the golden triangle, an opium museum, and tribal village. We had a great day with a friendly, accommodating guide and driver. If we did it again I would ask to spend more time at the tea plantation and tribal village, and less time at the border town.

Great countryside tour of northern Thailand
The highlight of this wonderful tour was our guide, Bank. He was informative, attentive and funny. The sights were amazing and an opportunity to get away from the crowds and hustle of the cities. We got to see the country side around Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle.

Wonderful day trip!
Very educational, you pack a lot into a short little day trip! My guide was very knowledgeable. I switched my pickup location last minute and they reached out right away in the morning and fixed it. Very nice.

Informative but sad
First of all, our guide was first-rate- very knowledgeable with a knack for keeping us comfortable.
The Longneck Karen portion began as a grueling gauntlet through elder tribes people haranguing us to buy their “handmade” overpriced trinkets that were really China-made junk. I feel sad that they were reduced to this to live. Later, there was another tribe that had some beautiful, real hand-woven scarves that inspired me to purchase. They were much more low-key. Still, I don’t know how much I’d like being on display.
We also visited the Opium Museum and learned the history of opium production, trade, war and human devastation. Informative but sad.
