Well done taste of what Chattanooga has become: a foodie city. Enjoyed all three stops, but especially enjoyed our trip to Common House. Such a unique story and place. Food was excellent, but we loved the concept, how they rehabbed an abandoned ymca and turn it into a very unique destination and place of comfort for people.
Calling out our guide. She was excellent. Knew her city and its food culture. Great info but mostly she made it fun.
Do yourself a favor and take this tour.

Enjoyable and educational walking tour with delicious foods. Renaud is very knowledgeable and has connections with amazing food, drink and accommodation experts.

It was fun, informative , and included plenty of food and drink. All stops were nearby so not alot of walking in the chilly weather. We had a very friendly upbeat guide who was a wealth of info about the town and the foodie scene. We followed one of his recommendations for dinner later that day and it was great.

The food was interesting at all the sites. We covered much of the areas history at the Common House, enjoyed foods from around the world at the Blue Fox Cheese Shop and we're amazed by the crepes at Adelle's Creperie. Prepare to shop for original whimsical art at the Hart Gallery Tennessee.

So much fun and educational, I really cannot say enough. We have done several food tours and this had to have been the best! Briana our host was incredibly knowledgeable of Chattanooga and knew things we would have never known about this great little hidden gem of a city.

Excellent tour. Briana, our tour guide, was a lot of fun with an amazing personality. The crepes at Adelle’s are fantastic, the Biscuits and gravy (biscuits and sausage gravy are made in house) at the Common House were the most delicious I have ever tasted (this is coming from someone who does not typically eat biscuits and gravy), and the cheese, salami, olives, and pickled jalapeño at Bleu Fox Cheese were delicious.

My partner and I love food tours in new towns because it’s a great way to eat great food and discover a new place at the same time. This tour delivered on the food, but we found it left us hanging a bit in terms of introducing the town. Our tour guide was very friendly and charming, but there were several opportunities to tell us about the history of the part of town we were in or the establishments and that didn’t happen. Our group was very lively and we all enjoyed ourselves but it didn’t quite live up to our expectation. That said, do not pass up the orange croissant at the Common House. We all voted and it was everyone’s favourite item on the entire tour.

Absolutely delightful experience. Renaud was a wonderful tour guide - friendly, informative, and fun. We would recommend it to anyone who enjoys getting to know a city through its (delicious!) food.

Wow! Where do I begin? I was so thrilled to see Briana, who was our tour guide from the dinner tour that we went on in March. She is so incredibly sweet, talented and knowledgeable about all things Chattanooga. My favorite part was visiting the Common House. So much history there. I can’t wait for our next visit!

As you consider this food tour (I've been on many around the world), please know that for $99, we only went to 3 food stops. The guide didn't explain the food, the business owners did, and his knowledge of the area seemed limited (as he was reading off his phone to explain some of the stops). Even though he was nice, and the last stop was beautiful, I don't believe it's worth the money. It also only went about 2 hours instead of 3.

Keith was an amazing guide. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was amazing at all the stops. One stop was an art gallery, so description of 4 restaurants was a little miss leading, but honestly I don’t think I could have eaten another bite. The art gallery was something we wouldn’t have thought to stop at but was a very cool experience.
My whole group enjoyed this and it is worth the money!!

We had so much fun on the tour! Bri and Keith were amazing guides, very knowledgeable about the spots we hit as well as the general area and goings on in Chattanooga. We will definitely do another tour when we come back later in the spring! 11/10

Don't waste your money!! Write up says: 1. Small group- just the 2 of us 2. Visit FOUR restaurants- we had 2 crepes at one restaurant; next cheese shop had no idea we were even coming, got a 5 inch PAPER plate with 2 slices, 2 pickles, 4 TINY slices of cheese, 3 crackers and a few other tiny things we didn't eat. 3. Did NOT have four restaurants, went to an art gallery (what?), and ended with our MEAL of the day that had TWO shareable dishes- one looked like it literally came out of the garbage and the other was three day old pasta of some sort. 4. The THREE hour "tour" was over in 1.5 hours...very boring and VERY mislead about the tour itself by Viator.

This was such a fun experience. Not only was the food amazing the tour guide, Haydynn was so knowledgeable about Chattanooga. We learned so much and enjoyed great food! 10/10 experience and I would recommend it to anyone coming into Chattanooga.
Response from Host, Aug 2023
Thank you so much for your review Savina! We are so glad Haydynn provided a 10/10 experience :)

Delightful journey through Southside Chattanooga with our friendly and attentive guide Haydynn! Highly recommended.
Response from Host, Jun 2023
We are so glad to hear Haydynn hit the mark on your tour! He is truly a gem. We would love to have you back any time.

Described as 4 restaurant stops, instead we stopped at 2 restaurants and 2 bars. Some of our group were not drinkers and did not get their monies worth. At one of the restaurants we were served an alcoholic drink without disclosing that it was an alcoholic beverage.
Also, I was asked 3 times about my groups dietary restrictions before the tour, by email and text and then was asked again when we arrived. There was a clear lack of communication between the tour guide and the company.
In addition, in the tour description, it states the tour guide will share the history of Chattanooga which did not happen since the tour guide had limited knowledge in the historical sense.
Finally, our tour guide made several racial driven comments expressing her personal views.
Response from Host, May 2023
Thank you for your feedback, and we are sad to hear that you had a negative experience. We always want to ensure that our guests dietary restrictions are accommodated for, and ensure that no guests have any allergies to ensure we appropriately accommodate our guests. We do our best to share the history of the Southside area of Chattanooga, and will continue to educate our staff on this area. We are improving our processes, and growing and your feedback is helping with that. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other feedback at chatttaste@gmail.com

What a great way to find the best local hot spots and try some new dishes. I'm a repeat customer. If you've family or friends coming to visit, take them along!
Bhavini_V, Jun 2022
Great tour with a great guide! I learned so much. Food was all so delicious!! I would book this again!!!
Rita_H, May 2022
Great tour! Kelsey was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Southside as well as the restaurants we visited. She is a great photographer too. She knows all the places for a nice photo. It is a wonderful way to get to try out new places without committing to one restaurant for an entire meal. Sample sizes of the food and drinks are generous. Highly recommend
Sara_B, Apr 2022
Briana was amazing! She made the entire tour fun, and of course the food was devine!!!!! We love doing food tours day one in a city, we learn our way around, and always find places to have amazing food at later in our trip (I have pics, but the site keeps giving me an error and I cannot share them on here🥺)

Best decision we made on this trip! Much more food than we expected, and three cocktails. This tour is worth every penny and more. We walked to four restaurants, spent 30 minutes at each, and got immediate service. All had seasonal menus and a great locally owned back story. Brianna gave us much more than a food tour, too—an excellent intro to Chattanooga and its neighborhoods, seasonal events, and what to do. We have a much better idea of what to do next time we come to Chattanooga. We are veteran travelers, but after this experience food tours will be at the top of our list.

Great food; even better guide. Matt was outstanding. He really knew his stuff! He was knowledgeable about all things Chattanooga.
Response from Host, Aug 2021
Thank you! Matt is a great guide and definitely very knowledgeable about Chattanooga. We are glad that you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you again!
Christie_M, Jun 2021
Highly recommend this tour! Great food and drink options if you want to taste unique cuisine hidden away in a small city. Our guide was amazing: friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about the area and the stops. Bryan was passionate and shared good information throughout the tour. One of the best food tours I have ever had!
