Well to start my Wife and I were greeted by Michael and we were informed that we were the only participants booked for this evening (Wife's Birthday). Our first thoughts were slight disappointment, but seconds later that changed realizing she gets her own dinner tour. Michael made this event very, very enjoyable and informative. Now to the food!!! OMG!!!! Every dish was awesome, starting at the Old Gilman Grill to the Westin Chattanooga Paloma Bar de Tapas (10th floor, scenic view of the city) and finishing up at the Common House Chattanooga. Honestly we were stuffed at the first stop and were thinking can we make it to the end??? Well the second stop was also awesome (Paloma Bar de Tapas). Finishing up at the Common House was also awesome. So we like to express our special thank you to Michael, who made this tour just flat out awesome from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour everyone we know and anyone that is considering it, you will not be disappointed for sure. Michael asked us at the end, what was our favorite dish from the tour, and that was a very, very hard choice to make, but for me it was the Carrot Cake at Paloma Bar de Tapas and my Wife's pick was the Pasta dish from Old Gilman Grill.

Michael is a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant choices were spot-on. Even though we are local, we don't often get downtown, so this was a great chance to be introduced to places we aren't familiar with.

Alex was our tour guide & he made it fun & we learned some history. The food was delicious. The restaurant‘s Feerick was great. Cocktails were great. The dessert and dinner drinks were great. We highly recommend to do it again. When company come I will suggest to them to doing this.

Enjoyed our experience in the West Village. Alex is a great guide and shared a lot of fun facts and some favorite eateries around Chattanooga which we appreciated. However, the tour could be improved. Our last stop was closed (due to power?) so we went back to gilman’s—but they weren't expecting us. A bit awkward. We got split up between 2 tables…ok we’re flexible. Even though my favorite food was at the Westin, I would have preferred to walk to a different eatery since we already dined and checked out the upstairs. Our tour ended up eating 4 times at 2 buildings across the street from each other. I enjoyed the umbrella alley…Perhaps also a little tour of the Read House hotel? Or walk to the church that was 2 stories underground? It was just a half block away. Hope your other tours are a bit more expansive.
Also, Alex spent a while trying to contact his boss about whether our Westin dining included an alcohol drink. It took up a bit of time and was awkward waiting to hear back which I don’t think he ever got an answer. So no drink which was fine, just made the tour feel unorganized. Alex mentioned that the MLK tour was a favorite, but it’s not offered currently.

Our guide -Sarah - was a delight. My wife and I were the only guests. Couteous, professional and quite knowlegeable. She was on time and had our food out to us quickly. In addition, she was very pleasant and we enjoyed her company. The food was quite tasty, especially the pasta with spicy sausage served @ Gilman. I would have liked an extra helping of the chicken quesadilla at Hotel Indigo. I did have enough to eat for dinner and would recommend this dinner food tour.

What a great way to sample different cuisines of Chattanooga! I loved the variety of tastes and the unique offerings. Our host also provided some history and photo ops. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Aex was amazing! The food was delicious, and the walk was short not too long in a nice downtown area. The servers at each spot were great and friendly. The food at both hotels were delicious and my favorite. And the group was friendly, I went solo. Also, learned some great things about the city.

Alex was a great tour guide. He was very personable and interactive. He shared interesting facts about the city and surrounding area.

The food was overall very good. We enjoyed the variety. However, our main dissatisfaction was with Sara the guide. She was very soft spoken and as many times as asked, we could not hear what she was saying. In furtherance of that, she never explained any of the foods or locations and why any of them were even chosen. She gave no history of the Chattanooga food scene. At all of the locations, it was felt that they did not know we were coming because they were not prepared. Also felt the tour was rushed. At the first location, the first people served were finished before the last few were even served. At a few of the locations, some of us were not even finished eating when it was time to leave. Overall, it was not a culinary tour experience, it was a quick bite feeding.

Awesome experience. Sarah was a fantastic guide. Great stories and history of the area. Food was amazing. Would recommend this experience to anyone wanting a great meal and some Chattanooga flair.

Briana, our tour guide was so sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Chattanooga. The restaurants were fabulous and the food was fantastic. Briana quizzed us about the places we visited and made it super fun and interactive. She is an absolute gem!

This is a MUST!! We had the most fun group of people and the food and drinks were beyond delectable. Brianna was fantastic. When we come back to Chattanooga we will definitely book another one of the food tours with her! We got to meet 2 of the chefs which made the experience that much better.

We were unable to go the night of- last minute difficulties.Tried to go the next night and I was told we would have to pay for the missed night and full price for tickets if we wanted to go the next night.Seems they could have at least given us some percentage off.Don’t think I will book with them again.

We really enjoyed the history of Chattanooga along the tour. The food was good but our host, Haydeyn was wonderful. He also had a newbie along. Asia was also spectacular. They both were so personable and able to relate and talk to the different people in our group. They made the tour exceptionally better. Highly recommend Haydeyn and Asia.

If you come to Chattanooga, or live here, and don’t take this food tour, you are missing out. Chefs personally delivered dishes to our table—Briana is known to them all. Highlights: Chef Erin’s Moroccan tacos, server Richard and the Parpardelle pasta; Chef Jeff’s duck spring rolls & truffle gnocchi; mixologist Adam’s smoked salt Mezcal margarita (wow!); Chef Gage’s olive oil cake with apricot compote…Chatt Taste delivers again. Both tours I have loved how Briana shared history about the city as we walked; even the local learned a lot. I am a repeat customer from Nashville and will keep coming back because it’s the most fun I have each trip.

We had a wonderful time touring downtown Chattanooga with our guide, Briana. We were in a small group of six, had a ball getting to know our new friends, ate at some wonderful restaurants and had some memorable drinks. Briana is an excellent guide. This is her business and she saw to it that we had fun. I would highly recommend a tour with ChattTaste.

The Food! The restaurants were beautiful. Everyone was so nice to all of us. Our tour guys were great. It was raining but they never let us get wet! The food was wonderful and seeing Chattanooga for the first time made this so much fun!
Candace_S, Nov 2022
I loved the outdoor dining, especially the second location with pasta, which was amazing. Also appreciated being shuttled to the last two restaurants as they were a distance. Our tour guide, Hayden, was very friendly and informative! My only recommendation for improvement is in the tour description about the alcoholic drink add-on. The description I read talked about a wine pairing option, and I even direct messaged asking about it, but really there was no such thing. Instead, there was a cocktail package which wasn’t even mentioned. The experience would be enhanced if the food was actually paired with wine that worked with the dishes. Thst said,, it was a fun experience!
Joanne_V, Oct 2022
Our host was an awesome young man, was a really fun tour. A wide variety of foods and even a distillery.
