The car pick was difficult without internet access. We couldn’t find the driver and it took some messaging back and forth using WhatsApp. Eventually we met up. On arrival at the camp in the desert, we were the only ones there. We were welcomed and provided with some tea and told that the bar was over there; however there was nobody at the bar to order drinks. We explained we were vegan but were worried as we had already informed the provider but somehow it was missed. However we didn’t need to worry as lunch was delicious. Overall it was a nice few hours relaxing but could have been better if we were informed and given the choice to continue the excursion on our own without any other people. It seemed at times that the usual effort was not there. No towels given out or open bar to order a drink. The desert was also very green in March so it didn’t really like the experience the photos had shown. I think going when the weather is warmer as the pool is incredibly cold and when other people were there would make a difference.
