What a wonderful experience! Youssef was our driver and Abdul our tour guide. Both were excellent and highly recommend. Our driver was on time with a clean minivan for the 4 of us and drove very professionally. Abdul spent almost 5 hours with us and we never felt rushed. He knows his city so well, spoke English fluently, showed us a great spot for lunch, took great pictures and videos of us. Seeing the “Blue City” was so worthwhile even with the long 5 hour car ride back and forth from Casablanca. You will not be disappointed having them take you! I had requested both of them beforehand.

We didn’t got to go to that city because of the flooding. The travel agent should have known this situation since the flood happened around January 27 to 29th. But they didn’t want to cancel the trip so they still sent the car. The driver kept on driving even he found all the roads were blocked. We were on the road for 12 hours. It was horrible experience. We demand full refund of our payment!!

It was a wonderful trip, Chefchaouen is such a beautiful city. Our driver, Omar is an excellent driver, we felt safe and comfortable in this 10 hours of journey. He is also a honest guy. We accidentally left our stuff in his car, he returned it before we found his number.
Abdula was our local guide In Chefchaouen. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We learns not only local history but also Muslim history including their contributions to the world.
We highly recommend this trip.

The company who provides this tour is great, very good in communication and they have very comfortable transportation. It’s little bit long drive, but with comfortable vehicle and good amount of stops to stretch make it easy. The city is beautiful and absolutely worth driving there. Tour guide met us there and showed us all the beautiful places and very knowledgeable about the history.

The driver was great! However, our tour guide at Chefchaouen overslept (it was 11:30 am) and so we had to wait for him. Our guide was friendly enough, but not much to see in Chefchaouen other than blue paint everywhere. Its a pretty city, but not much to see or do. Go there if you have absolutely nothing else to do while at Morocco.

Our driver Ali picked us up on time at the hotel and we drove to the Blue city where we met our tour guide Elive. The tour guide walked with us through the blue city and explained the main things about it. We had lunch inside the blue city and the food was delicious. We had a great time.

The city is very interesting both in appearance and history. If you can get to the Blue City you should put it on your itinerary. As everywhere in Morocco the people are friendly, the city is clean and attractive.

So we were picked up on time by a well-dressed gentleman who spoke very very little English so have your translator ready.
It took us about five hours to get there because you have to go through the small towns and they are very very slow. Make sure you ask your guide to stop at Toilets that are American toilets because some of the stops were very gross on our way there.
Once we finally got to the blue city, we were met by a guide. His name was Bilal. He spoke so fast that we didn’t pick up hardly anything he said. But he was nice enough to take pictures for us. The tour is only an hour long. Then he , referred us to a restaurant where we had lunch for another hour.
We checked all the way back to the hotel for another five hours. Was it worth it? Yes but I think it’s better if you jump on the high-speed train and go to Tangier and then go to the blue city from there. This was much too long of a ride! And for $500 plus I’m sure you could do it much cheaper

Our driver Ismail was exceptional, he made us feel safe with our 4 hour drive each way. He was very pleasant, and knowledgeable, he could have been our tour guide as well! We met our local tour guide, Abdul, and it was a wonderful experience. We are very pleased that we chose this tour, it was amazing!

Mourad the walking tour guide in Chefchaouen was amazing. He was informative, kind, funny and his hospitality was above and beyond.
The driver from Casablanca to Chefchaouen was far from friendly, provided no cold water, limited air conditioning and did not communicate with us at all. Unfortunately all this was included in the price of the trip but not provided. We had to ask to stop for water and pay for it ourselves.

Amazing driver (Mellak) and tour guide. Both made the experience seamless and ++++ enjoyable ! The 6 hour drive was seamless with Mellak and the tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, kind and a great photographer. I would definitely recommend this to any friends or family coming to Morocco.

The Blue City is interesting and the guide explained the reason. Getting there was a long trip but the second half of the journey was very scenic.

History of blue city. Our guide Abdul was extremely knowledgeable . He took his time explaining the various transition of generations from the time of Mohammed to now. He was also very patient and navigated a seamless walk thru the city without using the stairs. The design of the homes allowing the rooms to be cool in the day and warm at nights during the various weather was extremely fascinating. The residents were very courteous and warm . The blue color reminds me of the ocean. Loved it even though it was a long drive from Casablanca. I must also commend my driver (Nazib???) for his skills . Thank you for a safe journey.

My visit to Chefchaucen “the Blue City” was the absolute highlight of my Moroccan trip to Casablanca! Noureddine was my driver to the “Blue City” and he was such a gentleman with a great personality. I felt so completely safe, comfortable, and pleasantly happy on my private tour with him in the car that I asked to sit up front. This is a big deal coming from a solo female traveler. He was so attentive to making sure that I enjoyed the journey. For example, I expressed interest in wanting olive oil after seeing so many trees along the way, and he surprisingly stopped at a speciality store for me to get the best quality olive oil from the countryside. There was a different tour guide inside blue city. He is from the oldest family settled there, so he was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The people, the culture, the beautiful blue and white homes, the restaurants, the oranges, the scrumptious brick oven baked pastries, the delicious pil pil and tajine at riad hicham, the hospitality of Machkour rugs, and the journey there with the countryside views of mountains and rivers was all amazing! This is a tour that I have to repeat with my fiancé and mom… and the same driver, Noureddine.

I want to acknowledge Omar for his excellent driving skills, which made our 5-hour road trip very comfortable. Blue City is a great destination that is definitely worth visiting. Our local guide had a great knowledge of the area. However, I feel that the whole experience could have been even better if our guide had given us some free time to explore on our own instead of sending us back to our driver and hotel right after the tour.

I was initially hesitant about this trip due to the long periods on the road (approximately 5 hours each way). However, after the trip, my whole family loved it. It was the icing on the cake for our trip to Morocco.
Our driver, Yossef, and local guide, Fouad were simply great. We had enough time to enjoy the sights, do some shopping, and even had a great lunch in Chefchouen.
I’m greatly appreciate of our driver for accommodating us, especially during the Muslim fasting month, as we reached Casablanca close to 8 pm.
I highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Lovely escursion, highly reccomended. A special thanks to our driver Youssef for the smooth ride and to Momo's great explanation of the city! The only down side, if I have to find one, is that we did not have time for lunch, but I suppose this is be cause of Ramadan. Aside from that, It is definitely worth it.

What an exceptional tour. There was quite a long drive to/from Chefchaouen however it was worth it! What a beautiful city.
We were met on arrival by our tour guide Abdelghafour. Throughout the day he was informative and considerate. We started at the top of the city with splendid views across the valley seeing the blue city in all its beauty. The tour captured all of the key sites, the public ovens, fountains, Koranic school, a Hammam, city walls and even the best sites for instagramming.
A great day made more special with Abdul as the guide. Highly recommended

The whole blue city was very beautiful and interesting. Your driver and guide were both very good and helpful. Guide had good knowledge about the city

Abdul our driving to and from was wonderful. We learned a lot from him and he was very nice and helpful!! Then our tour guide Abdul in the city was very informative and friendly. Both guides were great and I would highly recommended this tour!

Although it was a long drive from Casablanca (5 hours), it was well worth it. Chefchaouen is a love city with a unique atmosphere. Lots of shopping and lovely eating spots. Definitely recommend. Our driver, Yousef, and local guide, Abdul, were lovely and we enjoyed spending time with them.

Our journey to the Blue City was a 5 hour plus journey. We were collected at our hotel. It was 7 of us so the vehicle was full. We stopped for coffee and something to eat as it was an early pick up at the hotel. Our driver was very accommodating. We stopped to take pics of the panoramic view of the city and were handed over to a local tour guide. He was local of the city and very knowlegable. Very willing to answer any questions. We learnt of the history of this beautiful city and the reason for it being painted blue. I did not enjoy my choice of meal and I personally found we wasted too much time at the lunch table. The tour guide should have put a time limit for us here. This would have afforded us more time to visit the city. Overall, it gave us what we wanted to see and learn of the Blue City. Would highly recommend if staying in Cassablanca as you cannot leave Morocco without visiting Chefchaouen. Thanks to our efficient tour guide and driver.

It was long drive from Casablanca but so worth the trip, the city was beautiful.the guide was informative.

Abdul was our driver and very professional and kind. He is very informative and knowledgeable. We stopped for coffee on the way there and it was delicious. When we got to Chefchaouen, Omar was our guide and he was very sweet and taught us a lot about his city. We did a tour around and then ate some good food. Everyone was so kind and no one pressured us to buy anything. The only bad thing about the trip was the rain at the end. One of my favorite tours while being in Morocco. Definitely will be back!
Nancy_Z, Oct 2023
Abdul our driver was so professional and kind. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and we picked up 2 more day trippers. Our van was cozy and we set off for our 5 hour drive to Chefchaouen
We stopped for a quick break for coffee after a couple hours then continued our drive passing though agricultural scenery to the Rif mountains where Chefchaouen sits.
Once we arrived in the blue city we met Omar Our guide. We only had 4 hours in The blue city so Omar our guide explained the history and life in the blue city. He treated us to the best almond cookie ever. The city is so charming and lots of shops to explore. During the tour you pass by but can’t really go back because time runs out quick. I recommend skipping lunch and shop first so you have time to explore all the shops. Prices so much better than Marrakesh and Casablanca for souvenirs so if you wait to buy your stuff here make sure you skip sit down lunch and grab something to eat on the bus back. We had been in Morocco for a few days so we skipped the Aragan talk and if you already purchased rugs you can skip the rug shop.
Great place for pics but time goes by fast when your there and have a guide. If you can spend one night or a few days here and skip the big cities. Lots of national parks near by and cooler temps.
Mendy_T, Oct 2023
Absolutely beautiful and worth the drive. Extremely safe city with very kind and gracious locals. Our guid Abdul was attentive, informative and very professional. He never tired to help with photos and showed us everything! Our driver Hamza was also very courteous and kind. He ensured our needs were met with patience and kindness. A wonderful tour with wonderful guides and driver. Truly my favorite part of Morocco!

The driver was great, funny, and very respectful. The city of Chefchaouen was also so beautiful and very worth the trip. However, the guide we had in Chefchaouen was not the best. He rushed through the city tour not really letting us stop for pictures along the way, telling us we would have free time after and that the best picture spots were coming. When in reality, he was bringing us to either paid picture places or the ones that had a big line / wait to take pictures at, when we could have easily stopped at one of the million other beautiful and empty spots we passed along the way. Then, we were given only 10 minutes of free time at the end, and were told we needed to remain in the square we were in. In fairness, the guide did need to manage a pretty mixed group, but overall we would have appreciated a bit more free time or freedom to stop along the way, etc.

This was a long journey; however, it was absolutely worth it. The drive was scenic giving us an insight into how people live outside of the major cities. We learned a lot from our guide, Abdol, who explained how Chefchaouen came to be the Blue City. They style of cooking is also delish. Well worth it
