The visits to the synagogues and museum were great. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to visit the Jewish cemetery. We learned so much about how the culture of the Jewish & Muslim people were intertwined. Our guide was so knowledgeable and easy to interact with. We were surprised about how much traffic impacted our timing.
We would recommend this tour and guide

Dear Mrs. Lois Mayer,
Thank you so much for your wonderful and thoughtful review. It truly warms my heart.
It was a genuine pleasure to share with you the fascinating story of Jewish and Muslim coexistence in Casablanca. This is a subject I am deeply passionate about, and having guests who are so open, engaged, and curious makes every tour especially rewarding.
You are absolutely right about the Jewish cemetery. It is one of the most moving and meaningful sites in Casablanca, and I was genuinely disappointed that we were unable to visit it that day. As your guide during a shore excursion, my first responsibility is always to ensure that guests return to their ship on time, and unfortunately Casablanca's traffic left us with no choice. I would never risk missing your all-aboard time.
The Jewish cemetery will be waiting for you on your next visit, and it would be my pleasure to show it to you properly and share more of its remarkable history.
Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. They mean a great deal to me and to my small business. I hope Morocco and Casablanca in particular will call you back one day.
Until then, take care and stay well.

Abdel

The tour was great. Our driver and guide were excellent.
We were contacted first to re arrange our time and was really good for us giving us time to have breakfast and sort out the little one before leaving. It was also suitable because we didn’t have to spend all day out and about, it was very informative and all we wanted to see. We first went to one of the synagogues, then to another one in the old city, we were allowed time to take pics before going there. It is actually our friends synagogue so we were really happy we could see it all at our own pace. After that we visited the Jewish museum and finally the cemetery where we walked at our own pace. We asked the driver and guide to drop us to one of the restaurants instead of our hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Our guide dropped one of my baby’s toys we left behind that evening at the hotel for us. Thank you for a great tour of Jewish Casablanca

Dear Mariela, dear husband, and sweet little Isaac,
What a review! You have made our whole team smile from ear to ear. THANK YOU .Muchas gracias a ustedes!
Hosting your family was truly one of those moments that reminds me why I love doing this every day.
Mariela from Argentina, a husband with his Italian soul and his Tangier roots, and little Isaac ; this tiny explorer who visited the synagogues of Casablanca before he could even walk! One day you will tell him about it, and he will hardly believe you.
I loved every moment of our day together from rearranging the morning schedule so you could enjoy a proper breakfast and get baby Isaac ready without rushing, to visiting the synagogue that belongs to your friends' community. That moment being welcomed into a living synagogue, not simply a tourist attraction ; is something very few visitors ever experience. You truly appreciated it, and that made me very happy.
The Jewish Museum, the quiet walk through the cemetery, and then dropping you off at the kosher restaurant instead of the hotel of course! A day exploring Jewish Casablanca deserves to end with a wonderful kosher meal.
And Isaac's little toy? That was entirely my pleasure. How could I possibly leave it behind?
Mariela, Italy, Tangier, Argentina, and Casablanca all came together in your beautiful family that day. Little Isaac is already a world traveler with extraordinary roots. Morocco was lucky to welcome him.
Come back soon there is always more to discover, more stories to share, and a warm welcome waiting for you here in Casablanca.
Your friend and tour guide from Casablanca,
Abdellatif

Tour guide knew very little about Judaism. As more Jewish tourists started coming to Morocco in several years ago, many tour guides took classes in Jewish Morocco. However, that makes them far from experts. She knew very little.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Nancy,
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to share your experience, and for your patience and understanding throughout our subsequent conversations.
I want to be fully transparent with future guests reading this: I was personally unavailable on the day of your tour, as I was leading a multi-day Jewish heritage circuit in Fès, Marrakech, and Rabat. A substitute guide conducted your tour in my absence and clearly did not meet the standard of knowledge and depth that Jewish heritage deserves, and that I personally deliver on every tour I lead.
This was my responsibility. I should have informed you in advance and ensured the substitute met my standards. I apologize unreservedly.
As a licensed guide with a Master's degree in Jewish heritage supported and financed by Mimouna Association, Morocco's leading NGO dedicated to preserving Jewish-Moroccan heritage I hold myself to a standard that was not reflected in your experience that day.
I issued a partial refund as a gesture of sincere goodwill, and I genuinely hope to welcome you back personally one day.
Warm regards,
A.Abdellatif

The guide was polite and knowledgeable, his English was perfect, the car was spotless, with water bottles and Kleenex. Our tour guide knew everybody, we went to the main bakery and he gave us
Us so many cookies. He is typical of the quality of VIATOR tours thank you

The tour guide was nice and had some knowledge but he wasnt able to take me to the school and overall the tour was pretty limited. The whole tour was only about 1 hour with most of the time spent at the museum, which I probably should have just gone to visit on my own.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Dear Ms Rebecca
Thank you very much for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the tour felt limited to you. I’d like to clarify that the tour usually lasts over 3 hours. On the day of your visit, I picked you up at 14:00 and dropped you off at 17:20, as you requested to be taken to a specific address and were in a bit of a hurry.
During the tour, we visited the Jewish Museum, Synagogue Beth-El, and also went to Synagogue Shlomo Neve. Unfortunately, the director there did not allow us to enter.
I always do my best to show guests the most important and meaningful places in Casablanca, and I appreciate your feedback. It helps me continue to improve and offer the best experience possible.
Best regards, Mr TIFFO
