A Driver is All We Got During This Rabat Tour

We were short changed by this tour company. Khalil, picked us up on time at our hotel. He introduced himself as our guide. When in fact - he was just a driver. He took us to Kasbah and told us he will meet us in the car in 30 mins. He did not give any information about Kasbah, etc. He did the same thing in Mausoleum of Mohammad V and in Chellar. In other words- we had no tour guide at all. We had to rely on our own prior readings to appreciate the history of Rabat. When I told him that the last part of the tour is the old market, he said that all the stores are closed due to the fact that it is Friday and it is Ramadan. I told him to at least take us to the area where the old market is so at least we will see how it is from the outside. He told us that he already showed us where it is when he took us to Kasbah and that we have to turn around to see the market. I realized then that Khalil did not really have the compassion of a tour guide understanding how important it is for tourists to see places in Rabat to appreciate more the history of Morocco. Please do not book any tour with this company. You will waste your money and your time.

An easy way to explore the differences between Casablanca and Rabat

The drive from Casablanca to Rabat gave us an appreciation of the contrast between these two important cities and the landscape in between. Our driver was informative and answered all of our questions. He made several stops in Rabat which gave us a chance to experience the key parts of the city. Lunch at a restaurant on the beach was delicious and relaxing.

Rabat is the most beautiful city we have seen in Morocco in the three weeks we've been traveling this country. Both our driver Khalil and guide Sila deserve 10/10. We had no difficulty understanding them. We were well informed not only Rabat's history, but overall information about Morocco and it's traditions, culture and history. We felt the whole day unfolded at a pleasant pace. A bonus was that the vehicle was very comfortable.

This was an okay tour- I give 3 stars because the value is in the guides driving you to Rabat and bringing you to each spot. I’m used to guides taking you to a spot and really educating you and spending more that 10-15 minutes to take photos. While there is more driving around Rabat than actually walking/seeing the city, for the 3 hours we were there, they showed us enough of the city to make us want to go back. Book this tour if you’re very short on time. Otherwise, I’d go a different route so you can really explore the city!

Completely Misleading, TOTAL RIP OFF!

This ad is fully misleading!!! Absolute Rip off!! this is a 3 hour tour max! The tour began at 9AM as scheduled. we arrived at 10:30 at the first spot and got a brief history of the architecture and other aspects of the city. We moved to the next stop and paid 70 Dirham to enter the next site similarly interesting. LAstly we walked through the old city. that was it. It was one hour of touring the tour guide left us and we left back to Casablanca at 11:30. We could have waited around with our driver till an appropriate time for lunch but that didnt seem an option. he drove us back and due to a lack of traffic were back in our hotel at 12:00. This is super misleading as the tour advertises a full day trip or approx. 6 hours. Even including driving time this tour lasted 3 hours. I contacted costumer service and they had no response for me. They were extremely unhelpful and just feel like we were taken for granted.

Dear Michael I am sorry to hear about your experience. I have checked the email exchange with our Rep Issam and he explained to you that you have covered all the sightseeing available in Rabat. Usually after the tour we suggest to our client to have their lunch break in Rabat and enjoy the river view but you've refused to have the lunch in Rabat and asked to be taken back to Casablanca. Usually this trip last between 2 to 3 hours without counting the driving journey. Kind regards

I would totally recommend this tour. I went alone and I never felt unsafe. The driver waited for us (tour guide and I) at each location and even waited for me to eat lunch after the tour was over! The guide was not only beautiful, taking you to all the best sight-seeing worthy locations but he was very informative and knows his country's history! I'm so glad I went on this trip!
