The Tour would be a very good tour except for our guide. I would not do it again if it was with our guide. Very unprofessional.

We booked this as a private tour through Viator and it couldn’t have been better, we were picked up early at our hotel by a super friendly guide called Sila Azzeddine, try to ask for his name when booking as he and his driver made this a five star experience.
At no point on this tour did we feel pressured into going anywhere against our will, we visited the Hassan ll mosque (admission extra), the coastal and beachfront area, the old original walled medina, browsed the shops and stalls of our choice and asked Sila for a recommended lunch where we could sample a tagine which did not disappoint.
Along the way we learnt of Casablanca’s history and the hopes and plans for the future all at a calm and leisurely pace, highly recommended.
First clue I should have noted was handwritten sign with name. Second clue, 8:30am show time only to sit for 30 minutes departing until 9:00am. Third clue, guide provided confusing information. The description stated entrance fee to mosque was included. We had to pay when we arrived. Expected guide to enter and provide tour. We we left at entrance without any instruction and guide disappeared. We had to figure it out on our own. Clearly, tour was paid to take us to certain location, understand but don't do the pressure sales. We were taken to a restaurant, which took an inordinate amount of time to bring food. What was scheduled for 4 hours was nearly 7. Not what I signed up to do. I will say the van driver was patient. I did not enjoy this experience at all.

This is by far the tour from hell. We booked a private tour, at 11pm the night before we were told there were 2 additional people added to our tour. We were picked up an hour late and there were 12 people. We were left behind at the mosque and was picked back up 1.5hrs later and never got to complete the tour. The guide took us to his friends to buy rugs and didn’t let us buy anything in the market place.
We were lied to and left behind twice and didn’t get a refund. Unbelievable!
The Casablanca tour through Viator was very disappointing. We chose this tour with your company because we’ve had positive experiences with it in the Baltic and more. However, this tour started out poorly and went downhill. At the beginning,my husband had to search for the vehicle and driver. We were at the entrance well before the meeting time. Other drivers were standing in front with names of passengers, not ours. The van was finally located with 3 names on the front dash board. Other passengers in our van had the same issue. The guide joined our party of 10 only after we left the grounds of the port. He did not introduce himself or the driver. He spoke English but did not communicate well with the group throughout the tour….limited information about the sites, limited directions of where to go or where to meet. He did not have tickets for all of us to enter the Mosque. My husband and I paid for our own even though the entrance fee was supposed to have been included in the tour. The guide did not enter the mosque. No information was provided except what we overheard from other tour groups. He did not keep count of all the passengers. One couple was left behind at one point. We were whisked through the Medina and told not to shop, only to be taken to a rug store of which none of us had any interest. He didn’t ask about needs of the passengers, such as water or bathroom breaks. We were finally taken to a restaurant which had a beautiful setting, but food preparation required an extended amount of time. This would have been fine except we all told the guide that we had to be back at the ship by a specific time. We barely had time to eat once food arrived. This chaotic and stressful tour seemed like it was lead by a boot leg guide. I don’t know if we’ll ever use Viator again.
The Mosque was very fascinating.
But read the small print, the cost of entry is extra.
The rest of the tour wasn’t that interesting and while it’s always part of the deal the forced sit down for a rug and then a spice presentation is always uncomfortable.
OK tour of Casablanca with main sites covered. Well meaning tour guide. The Medina was the highlight
Great guide and driver. Mosque tour was comprehensive and very informative. Many short stops to get feel of city. Very nice lunch on waterfront.

We had been victimized of a bait-and-switch scheme. Tour was not private as contracted with unwanted stops…wasted lots of time (Tour operator combined our group with many other strangers, whom also been duped into thinking it was their private tour, into 1 large “shared” bus)

I don't know why you giving the wrong information to other travellers. The tour you've booked for your group was a shared tour and Viator can definitely confirmed this.
The tour was done as per viator description and I don't understand what was the 1 star for.
Over the time of the excursion we had constantly the feeling that the mood of our guide got lower and lower. Expect of the visit of the Hassan II Moschee, the entrance must be paid extra, the other places are not that special and our guide explained not that much. But he invited us to a carpet and a cosmetic dealer which was not written in the description and we did not liked it.

Of course there other landmarks like Habous Market, Mahama du Pacha (Old Court), Notre Dame de Lourdes Church and other ones...Some travellers would like to buy souvenirs but if you were not interested, you could have said it to the guide.
Very knowledgeable and friendly, could recommend to anyone.

This incredible tour included the Hassan II mosque, shopping, sampling and an excellent tour guide! This was perfect for my one day in Casablanca and I didn’t miss anything! If you only have one day, or a morning in Casablanca, you absolutely need to do this!
Our guide toke us to 2 different places to visit and both were closed, we wanted to go to a local market and that also didn't happen. We were only there 1 day so we were very disappointed. He was arrogant too.
Despite initial confusion regarding pickup time and a first guide/driver who spoke no English and very limited French, it all worked out. Our principal guide, Mousa, spoke many languages (including excellent English) and gave us over 2.5 hours a great introduction to the sights of Casablanca, but importantly, also to Moroccan history and culture. We did not do the tour inside the Mohammed VI mosque which led to the initial confusion on when Mousa would join us. Ask for Mousa; he is excellent!
Our guide was exceptional. We truly enjoyed the tour with a private driver and a very knowledgable guide. Amongst other places we were taken, we visited the Hassan II Mosque which was well worth the visit.
Our tour guide and pick up were excellent, He was waiting at agreed spot and spoke very good English, timing was off for tour of Mosque and should be notes on proper attire for women to enter a Mosque, which did cause us the delay which led to us not going inside. The rest of the city is just good, market was fun don't let them take you to their cronies shops. food market was fun, wew did not eat or drink in this town
This tour provided a good overview of Casablanca. The guide did mention repeatedly how this isnt a touristy city and there isnt much to see, but that wed cover what there was. The visit to the Hassan II mosque was definitely the highlight absolutely breathtaking. We didnt go into the mosque as we hadnt brought enough money wanting to keep funds back for a tip, so be aware of that cost if you take this tour. I think it was 120 DH per person to enter the mosque.
Our visit to the medina market was also impressive. So many vendors, but so few customers it seemed! Definitely meant we were a centre of attention, as tourists. This was clearly not peak season for tourists as we saw pretty much no others.
Ricks Café was okay we had never seen the Casablanca movie so there was nothing for us to recognize. We also visited a special exhibition which was just a few vendor carts selling food. The medina was far more activity.
The low part of the tour was definitely when we were taken to a carpet store and a sales guy tried to pressure us into buying a carpet. Having gone through this miserable experience in Turkey before, it was certainly not appreciated. The sales guy then got annoyed when we said we were interested in none of the carpets, and he complained about us to our tour guide. He spoke Arabic but it was angry with lots of hand gestures, all in front of us. Not cool. We were then taken across the road to a medicinal herb-type shop but the sales guy there was much more apathetic.
The tour guide Sami was very friendly but we unfortunately found his accent extremely difficult to understand. I only caught about 50 of what he said. On a few occasions when I really wanted to know what hed said I had him repeat something several times, but I still couldnt understand. So unfortunately we missed out on a fair bit on this tour.
We still had fun though, and were glad we did it. We will book with Viator again.

Très surpris de voir à l'accueil notre guide taxi VIP nous attendre avec son véhicule noir à l'heure 9h30.
Ravis de faire sa connaissance.
Ensuite nous avons pu faire la connaissance de notre guide touristique qui nous a fait découvrir sa ville et surtout cette magnifique mosquée Hassan 2.
Nous avons fini notre périple par un dépôt demandé à un restaurant qui n'était pas prévu.
Nous avons été surpris par le changement social de la ville belle vers Beverly hills en contraste avec la vraie vie dans la Médina.
Nous avons également adorés les explications historiques.
Nous remercions vivement nos guides.

Poca información del conductor. Mucho coche y muchos de los sitios a visitar no nos paramos. Te venden como una experiencia de conocer la ciudad pero es solo parar, hacer foto y ya.
En el anuncio decía bebida incluida pero no nos dieron nada.
Además el guía tenía comentarios algo machistas lo cual puede ser aceptable por su cultura pero no por el público que éramos.
Notre guide Abdu était très sympa. La visite était enrichissante. On a pu découvrir plusieurs coins. J’ai adoré
