An exceptional culinary and cultural experience!

Don’t hesitate to book this rare and exceptional experience! We were fortunate to have the opportunity to join Mohamed and his wonderfully kind and talented family for a traditional Iftar (fast-breaking meal) during Ramadan. His wife prepared an elaborate delicious feast and Mohamed guided us through the customs, traditions, and significance of the various parts of the meal. His son had recently studied for a year in the U.S. and it was so fun and interesting to hear his experiences and insights. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mohamed. He reached out right away to assist with transportation options. We opted to take the tram and he provided clear directions and met us at the station. He then offered to take us through a traditional food market in his neighborhood, which was such a cool experience! We learned a lot from him and were touched by his spirit of openness and curiosity. This is a truly special experience that ended up being the highlight of our two-week vacation and that we will forever cherish!
