David the tour guide was wonderful but the driver was rude, had an attitude and seemed to hate his job. Would not recommend this tour.

I am very sorry to receive your mail, and surprised too as Alvaro (the driver), his average customer satisfaction is very high, we get good reviews all the time.
I have spoken to him, he is very sorry for the situation as it was not his intention to upset anyone.
I understand that it was a misunderstanding of form, not of vocabulary, as they could not understand each other, Alvaro does not speak English and the customer does not speak Spanish. As they say, it's not what you say but how you say it, the face conveys a lot and apparently Alvaro hadn't had breakfast that morning. For the record, I am not defending him, because we have to be professionals, and with clients, especially at this level, we must have a smile on our faces, whether or not the client is right, whatever he does, never to offend, as you can say NO to something but in a pleasant way.
So for your peace of mind, we have removed the driver from our company.
Thank you once again and enjoy your summer.

Great walking tour of Cartagena
We did a short scenic drive - mostly to get a great view of the city from a higher elevation, Castillo de La Concepcion
Then we began our walking tour, with an in depth visit to the Roman Theater museum
Our guide, David was warm and informative, entertaining us while learned some history
Wonderful way to see Cartagena!

Reliable pick up. Our guide was knowledgeable, but struggled a bit with English.
We really enjoyed Seeing the Roman ruins. The city did such a nice job preserving them while allowing the public to see them. The theater was amazing!
