The guide was lovely. She had a great knowledge of the area. The walk was a little steep so we stopped a few times and took in the views.

I had a great Hike with the Jacob who was the guide. Due to the time of year it was just myself booked onto this Hike but Jacob still took me out! He was very knowledgeable about the area and I would definitely do this Hike again or book more trips in the future. Thank you!

This was a great way to spend the afternoon out in the fresh air. Ben, our guide, was fabulous. We learned new things about local mountain vegetation, life in the early 1900's, and got to see remnants that were discarded when the townsfolk left. We saw a few game animals along the way and some very recent bear scat.
The hike does have some steep areas to climb but they are short. Our guide gave us a moment to catch our 60 year old breaths. Whew.. Overall it was memorable and pleasant!

It was a really fun tour! Our guide Jacob was friendly and knowledgeable, he told us about the history of the area, unique trees, traces of animals etc. I met a nice couple on the tour, we really enjoyed the group hike. It's not a short hike, but I would have enjoyed at least one more hour!
I highly recommend this tour especially for solo travellers like me. This is a great way to meet people and have fun, and also learn.
