Dont waste your money

Valeria_D, Jan 2024
Weve done a couple of street art tours before and this one was pretty lame. They only showed us the artist they represented and saw like 4 murals. Its a shame cause BA was a lot of street art and we just didnt learn anything new. The ones they showed us didnt need a lot of explanation.

Tour guide never showed up. Also the only one that never reached out to confirm in advance. Don’t book this tour.

Response from Host, Apr 2023

Hola Kathleen,We're truly sorry for what happened on your tour, on Wednesday. Your guide had a bicycle accident on his way to the tour and lost all communications with his family and the team for 4 hours. For this reason, we got in touch with all the participants of your group tour on the same day to refund the booking and invite all free of cost to another tour date which, unfortunately, didn't meet your schedule. We completely understand this type of inconvenience wastes an opportunity in a limited stay in Buenos Aires and we could not be sorryer. We're a small project and ours is a labour of love. We are very passionate in what we do and always strive to make sure that everyone who joins us for a tour has an exceptional experience that becomes a highlight of their visit to Buenos Aires. It's my understanding that your refund was processed by the platform and should be available for you from 3 to 5 business days. Best wishes, Cecilia

No Show Scam

Tour guide never showed up. Never called. Never replied. Typical Buenos Aires disorganization. But Viator owes me a refund and also has not replied to my messages. Stay away from this scam.

Informative and inspiring tour

Exelent and very knowledgeable guides. Nice to see different neighborhoods. Nice to have the information about the history of graffiti and streetart in Buenos Aires.

Amazing street art!

audreybarbra, Aug 2019
The tour was a highlight of our trip to BA. It was off season and we were 2 of 3 on the tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the art and history. I highly recommend this tour.

Worth every cent!

My guide was Kat. She really knew great detail of the history of the painted houses, artists and the meaning behind each work of art. Every question was answered. I would really recommend this tour to see the true highlights of the area. As a side note, Kat was more than helpful with getting me back to the city and other tourist information.

We enjoyed this tour - got to see a lot of artists and understand the origin and history of the graffiti movement in Argentina. Learned about the different styles and the other cultural aspects of Graffiti. Lucresia is very knowledgeable, nice, courteous. Would suggest that she gets a small mic because at times its really hard to hear her given all the noises on the street. Kathleen the apprentice was nervous but did a great job with the small part she spoke about. Her English is great. I would recommend that we spend a bit less time at the beginning with all the history - felt long - maybe weave that in along the way as we see more graffiti. Glad we did this tour.

Chris H, Mar 2018
Great tour of northern Buenos Aires street art including informed commentary on the genesis and development of street art in BA and opportunities to visit galleries profiling the work of the artists seen on the tour.

Narelle O, Mar 2018
Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and connected to the street art world and gave us an insight into the different aspects of streetart and what it all meant. She was great at describing some of the pieces as well, making you see what the artist wanted to represent. Only disappointing thing was we didn't see a great load of the art. Stopped in at a gallery for way longer then needed in my opinion, i'd much rather have been on the street looking at the art.

Robert_S, Feb 2018
We very much enjoyed the art work on this tour and I doubt if we would have seen any of it if not via this tour. We arrived in Buenos Aires around noon and the afternoon tour fit in perfectly.....just enough to make the day worthwhile, but not too long after a lengthy flight.

Joshua W, Oct 2017
Who knew Graffiti had so much meaning! Loved the tour and the history that came along with it. Didnt love the art gallery plug or focus on local art scene along the way, but hey I guess every body gotta make a living haha. Would definetly recommend, I got amazing pics that I would otherwise not have been brave enough to venture into this neighbourhood it is safe, just wouldnt have gone by myself.

The tour was supposed to commence...

Victoria B, Jan 2017
The tour was supposed to commence before 9 am and end at noon. We were not picked up until 9:20 am and there was another pick up after we were picked up. The tour was supposed to be in English, but there was a non English speaker on the tour so our guide spoke in 2 languages. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but we saw very little. I would not recommend this tour.

The Viator Small-Group Buenos Aires...

Jill L, Jan 2017
The Viator Small-Group Buenos Aires Graffiti Art Tour was very informative and enjoyable. My husband is a Graffiti-enthusiast and we were both impressed by the knowledge and depth of the guide in explaining the graffiti of Buenos Aires. Our only slight problem with the tour was the fact that we had to take a cab from our hotel a 45 minute ride to the place of departure. As we had just arrived in B.A. it was a bit of a surprise to find out we needed to do this, but we do understand the reasoning as the graffiti was centered in a distant area of the city. All in all, we enjoyed the tour and also the stops at the galleries where some of the art was sold.

Laurie_J, Jun 2016
My middle-aged husband was surprised how much he enjoyed this tour. We saw a wide variety of street art, from geometric handwriting to painting with several layers of color and design. Our guide's explanation gave depth and helped us understand the way street artists interact and how they chose where to paint. Our tour group had more young people than most tours, which gave the tour an extra dimension. To our surprise by the end of the tour we each had discovered a favorite among the artists. We went on the North tour so we didn't see the 3D turtle, which was my one disappointment. A little off the beaten path. Worth the time and money.

It was a good trip with different examples of the various expressions of street art. Although presented as a bus tour, it was primarily a walking trip. With a 3 hour tour by van they could have covered more of the city perhaps.

A very interesting tour, who would have thought that graffiti can be a high level art form. Very enjoyable tour, presenting different types of graffiti as social comment and art. Highly recommended.

This was truly a fun tour. We were extremely happy to learn about the history of graffiti in BA, see several non-tourist parts of the city, and see interesting art. It completely changed the way we look at graffiti, particularly in the Argentine context. This is a tour for people who want an inside view, not the same old same old tourist bumf.

Guide was very well informed and has "street cred", and we could tell that this was clearly an area of great personal interest. She was very friendly and forthcoming, and all this made the tour a very unique cultural experience. Highly highly recommended.

The Graffiti art tour was excellent. Our Guide knew a lot about art and gave us information on the art, the Artists, and its relationship to the history of Buenos Aires. We saw many interesting and different examples of Graffiti. We learned so much. We would highly recommend this tour. It is a true Buenos Aires bargain. B Wold
