We had a mixed experience with this tour. There were definitely some highlights, but a major issue with our return travel significantly impacted the overall experience.
First, the positives. Emanuel (tour guide) and Andrés (driver) were both excellent. Emanuel, in particular, was kind, responsive, and did his best to support us on the ground. The tour itself was well organized, and we truly appreciated their efforts.
Unfortunately, things broke down when our return flight from Iguazú was delayed and ultimately canceled. We found out about the delay ourselves rather than being proactively informed, and communication from the company only came after we reached out. During a time-sensitive and stressful situation, we did not feel supported or guided.
More importantly, there was no meaningful help in navigating next steps from the tour company on the back end. We were left to figure out alternatives on our own on the ground, including booking new flights at our own expense to avoid being stranded. Waiting for the airline to resolve the situation was not a realistic option given our limited time in Argentina (which is what they told us needed to happen) and the fact that we were traveling with elderly parents who have physical limitations (which they were sympathetic about, but again didn't help us). Since all the flights were booked by the company, we were unable to manipulate anything on the backend, and again, they were unwilling to help us.
What was most disappointing was not the flight disruption itself, which we understand is outside of their control, but the lack of proactive communication, guidance, and customer care when it mattered most. At this price point, we expected a higher level of support. Although helpful, after experiencing anyone could book an uber to the airport, book their own flights and find a tour in Iguazu themselves.
In the end, while parts of the tour were very good, the handling of this situation left us feeling stressed and unsupported, which unfortunately overshadowed much of the experience.

Regarding the situation with the return flight, we would like to clarify a few important points for future readers:
The flight was operated by a third-party airline, and the delay and eventual cancellation were decisions made entirely by the airline, outside of our control.
As soon as we were notified of the schedule change, we took immediate action. Not only did we contact you directly shortly after receiving the airline’s notification, which is documented in our message history, but we also immediately contacted your guide, Emanuel, who was with you on-site, so he could assist you directly. The guide is physically with the passengers and is therefore in the best position to provide real-time support in these situations.
During these circumstances, airline policies apply strictly. Once tickets are issued, especially after check-in, they cannot be modified or rebooked without purchasing new tickets. This is a limitation imposed by the airline system, not by the tour operator.
We understand that disruptions like this are frustrating, especially when traveling with family and on a tight schedule. However, the standard procedure in these cases is to follow the airline’s instructions, as they are responsible for re-accommodation in the event of cancellations.
Regarding pricing, we would also like to provide some context. Argentina is currently an expensive destination, particularly for domestic flights and tourism services. Additionally, bookings made through international platforms include significant commissions. On top of that, we must also cover all applicable taxes, including VAT (Value Added Tax) and income tax. As local operators, our margin is limited, as we are responsible for coordinating and prepaying all services included in the package: flights, private transfers in Buenos Aires and Iguazú, private guide services, and national park tickets.
Finally, regarding the comment that this experience could be replicated by booking flights independently, taking an Uber, and arranging services separately, we respectfully disagree. While anyone can purchase flights, they would face exactly the same airline restrictions and disruptions, as these are beyond any operator’s control. What we provide is a fully organized experience with carefully selected, high-quality professionals. Our guides and drivers are experienced and personally vetted, ensuring a level of service and reliability that is not comparable to arranging services independently.

We absolutely loved our trip to the waterfalls. For us, the type of path to the falls was very important, and we were happy to find well-maintained metal walkways with a grid-like surface, which made the journey much easier and more comfortable.
Our guide, Emanuel, was outstanding—knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor, and very well-informed about the local flora and fauna. A true naturalist! He was also incredibly attentive and caring.
The entire tour was perfectly organized, down to the minute. All the drivers were highly professional.
We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this tour.

This was an all day action packed adventure since we elected to do both sides of the falls. Our guide was accommodating, so energetic, knowledgeable and prepared for everything. Blister? He’s got bandaids, Nordic body dying of heat and no hat? Boom he gives you his own hat, needing a boost? He will teach you how to brew Mate and share his coveted mate with you! He knows EVERYONE and everyone loves him. Having the door to door service was amazing, I really appreciated being able to just enjoy my trip with out having to figure out connections and transfers. The drivers were the best we’ve had and we could not have asked for a better day!

Jose and Andres, our drivers were very professional, courteous and expert. Emmanuel, our tour guide was exceptional - very knowledgeable and accommodating. We got to see the entire falls, plus the Tres Fronteras and had an exceptional dinner in Iquazu - all in one long day. This was one of the best experiences in our lives.

This trip is the biggest high risk/high reward excursion I have been on. You begin the trip flying on JetSmart, an economy airline. If you have any meaningful delays on the outbound, your whole outing can be dramatically altered. We were delayed but only for about 45 minutes. When we arrived, the outing was magnificent. Iguazu is spectacular and our guide was exceptional. It is truly a wonder to behold and our guide masterfully took us though the experience. It was outstanding. We then flew back on JetSmart and again were reminded how tenuous that experience could be as most flights out that night were cancelled but luckily ours was only delayed for about an hour. We had an incredible time but buyers should know the small margin of error between “time of your life” and frustration. We had an incredible outing.

Every detail perfect from the flights to the cars to the Falls! Amazing natural wonder even better with such a knowledgable and nice guide! Anna is a great to help you see the whole park and falls from so many different vantages and her love of the area, ecology, nature, & the falls truly shines through! It’s like reuniting with an old friend who helps you have the best day while you get the majesty of what is here. From knowing where to get the best pictures, where to see all the jungle has hidden in plain sight, the lore and science behind what you are experiencing or giving you the time you want to soak in the beauty, our guide made the day fun and one to remember. It would be easy todo miss so much or to spend time worrying about getting here or there but why? With this tour, it is all handled and communication before you arrive was exceptional! Thank you!

It’s all about the travel to get there and back.
It was booked as a 6AM pickup and then changed to 5 AM because of flight changes. The departure was then delayed from EZE. Drivers were good and Emmanuel, our guide was superb. The Falls are remarkable and well worth the journey. It’s a long day and we were back at the airport 11/2 hours before the flight. Our flight back was with Jet Smart. They were late with their plane to Iguazu and then it was broken. Scheduled departure back was about 5. At about 9PM with no forecast regarding a repair we called Emmanuel who connected us to Viator. We were told to book the 3AM flight as the last flight to the local airport had departed. We went to the desk for Aerolineas Argentinas and they had a flight to EZE. It too was delayed but we arrived in Buenos Aires at about 12:40. Viator was unable to arrange airport to Marriott livery service so we took an Uber. We were back to the Marriott about 1:35. There is an unused ticket with Jet Smart and we will need to sort out the finances for the services not provided

We understand how frustrating a situation like this can be. While these incidents are rare, they sometimes do occur and are beyond our control.
We want to emphasize that the return flight with JetSmart was not cancelled, just delayed. It arrived at Ezeiza at 01:00h.
Regarding the transfer: the driver was waiting for the original flight for 2 hours at the Buenos Aires airport, until he was informed that it was delayed. In these situations it is difficult to provide the pre-established transfer service, because the drivers have other services assigned to them from other tour operators. And it's very difficult to find another available driver at the last minute.
We appreciate your understanding in this situation.

Met promptly at the cruise port by our driver who took us to the airport. When we landed at IGR we were met by our guide (Mattias) who quickly got us into the park. He was a knowledgeable and flexible guide who made sure we got the most out our limited time there. At the end of the day we were delivered to the airport on time and when we got back to Buenos Aires, the driver who started our day was there to meet us and bring us back to the ship.

We had a SUPERB guide through Viator, Emanuel Tapia. He led us to see the whole Argentinian side of the park in one day, as we needed to return to BA that evening. He was so well informed about the park, geology of the falls, history, birds, wildlife, politics of water, and cultural values of the region, and led us smoothly and efficiently all day, leading us through lines and crowds with ease and ensuring we found good camera angles at each site. Even a late afternoon thunderstorm gave us the opportunity to see Toucans in the trees. It was one of the best guiding experiences of our lives! And the falls are simply a Wonder of the World! Don't miss it!!!!

Emmanuel was an excellent guide, who tailored the tour to suit the hot weather and my limits! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the region, and the park, and was also very helpful at spotting wildlife!
It's a very long day, but well worth the time and money.

This is a great tour! Emmanuel was the best tour guide I have ever had! (And I've had a bunch). He was knowledgeable, funny and knew everyone in the park. He and Jose (driver) were punctual and catered to our likes and dislikes. I would 100% use Emmanuel as a tour guide again. Well worth the price! My only complaint was with administration. There are only a few domestic airlines to choose from in Argentina. Instead of booking us a round-trip ticket on the most reliable airline, Viator booked us a one-way ticket on the reliable airline to Iguazu and then our return ticket on the airline that is notorious for delays and cancelations. Our flight home was delayed and then rescheduled for the following day (with no notification to us). We either had to find a hotel in Iguazu for the night (and hope the flight returned us back to Buenos Aires the next day) or buy a different ticket on another airline (at our own cost). Viator never offered to compensate for the flight we paid for and couldn't use, or the new flight we had to purchase. I would recommend booking your own flights and searching out your own tour guides (there are so many). Thank you to Emmanuel (our tour guide) who helped us buy new airline tickets and got us back to B.A. in time to catch our flight back to the U.S. It was an overly-expensive day that could have been perfect if Viator didn't try to save a few bucks on our return flight.

Everything was wonderful from beginning to end! Our guide was beyond amazing and we learned so much about the flora and fauna in the park. The transfers were also very smooth and the drivers were excellent. We felt it was well worth the money although it is a long day. The falls were breathtaking!

What a great day! Early pick up at 3:30am to the airport in Buenos Aires and pick up in Iguacu, right when the park opened up. Mathias our guide was excellent and very knowledgeably. Just us, private tour. On his recommendation we added the boat tour on which is not to be missed. Absolute highlight. The video and pictures they provide are very affordable and great memory. Overall this maybe the highlight of our sour America trip!

Iguazú falls is the most beautiful natural wonder ! I can stop watching! We are disappointed and sad because our tour guide was so kind but taking care of us but no explanation for the Iguazú park and falls! We expected to learn any information about fall and flora and fauna. After silent tour we stay in airport 7 hours! I am not recommended this tour. That is first disappointment for Vistor! When we arrived in Buenos Aires no one was in airport for transport to the hotel

Iguazu Falls is an amazing place, and truly a wonder of nature. We booked the one day return trip and it went flawlessly - the transfers, flights etc all went perfectly. The guide, Gaston, was wonderful and stayed with us throughout and was a wealth of knowledge. The tough parts: 99 degrees F, 90% humidity, long walks and big crowds. Recommend you focus on the upper walk for best views. Lower walk is great, but oif you are going to do only one, the Upper path is the way to go. The Boat ride under the falls is optional and an extra $50 per person, and you get completely soaked, drenched, water-logged. A change of clothes and shoes is advised.

I’d recommend this tour to anyone! Things were seamless from pickup to drop off. Our personal guide, Lorena, was an absolute sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the falls and the animals. We really enjoyed every part of this tour and would recommend if you only have one day to see Iguazu.

Even though the falls were flooded, the company made a change to our itinerary that allowed us to see them. Our guide Gaston did a great job explaining things, making sure we were comfortable. He was helpful in making a change at the airport, making sure we were settled before leaving. We were in good hands the whole time!
