This worked really well for us. They picked us up at our hotel on Ko Samui. Brought us to the boat. Took us on the boat. Gave instructions on how to get back and return tickets. We had no issues and were happy we got to go over to Koh Phangan.

The Worst Way to Visit the Full Moon Party

The full moon party by itself is fine. It is this tour group that is absolutely horrible. Long story shirt, we were physically assaulted by the staff. Firstly, the fee you pay only covers the transport to and from the island. It does not cover the entrance fee. The tour group did not have enough boats to return from the island so you are forced to wait an hour or so until the next boat is available. Once we were at the front and able to get on the boat the tour staff tried to keep all the guests back from boarding as again there were limited spots on the boat. This tour groups method of crowd control was to forcefully shove all the guests off the pier. I was pushed so hard I almost fell into the water. When we finally got on the boat we were subject to 40 minutes of some drunk guests screaming the entire way boat ride back. I would not recommend this tour to even my worst enemy. There are many other companies that are cheaper and provide a much better experience.

All companies and operators use the same pier on Koh Phangan. The story we heard about someone being pushed is different from the one you're telling. It's a big party, and people go there specifically to get drunk.
