The wine selection was very good and we enjoyed trying 7 wines from Slovenia. Boris was very knowledgeable about the wine he chose and regions each one came from.
That being said, there was a lot of time spent on upselling other wines, chocolate and investing in his startup company. That plus the fact that the wine tasting was supposed to be 2 hours and it ended up being 1.5 instead with Boris rushing through made me take two stars off my rating. Overall I was happy enough with the experience but if these two points were different I’d have rated it much higher.

The walk to find it and the return to the hotel around the lake. The sommelier was pleasant. Snacks were a few pieces of bread, some cheese and olives. Very basic

Fun vine tasting experience in a cellar. It was a bit sticky but beside that the atmosphere was nice and the snacks were enough. The extra costs for the chocolate were unnecessary, but the vines and the oil were delicious. We also learned some fun facts and basic knowledge about the different vine regions in Slovenia. If you are already a Vine Pro, this will be not super interesting for you.

I loved this one!!!! Our guide was so knowledgeable - easily the most educational wine tasting I've ever done. Plus the games made it interactive and fun + the wine itself was spectacular! My friend and I both bought bottles afterwards.

The evening was fantastic! Boris told us everything there is to know about Slovenian wines! His story, descriptions and the tasting itself were very entertaining and we absolutely recommend the experience! It is so nice to see the enthusiasm for a product of the country and the wine was fantastic.
