Overview

Take out your camera and get ready to capture iconic pictures in Yaxha. After picking you up from the airport or hotel, the guide will take you on a walking tour from Gate 2 of the Yaxha Mayan Site to Yaxha North Acropolis, where you’ll visit the Minor Astronomical Observatory. Yaxha Ruins

We took a tour with the Guide Lucio from GEM Tours to Yaxhá from El Remate. Lucio made the trip very special. He was on time, very informative and had fun little stories and antidotes along the way. Yaxha is small compared to Tikal but it was us and the Howler Monkeys! It was a unique experience. Also had a great lunch.

Enjoying the shoulder season without the crowds and Beyond Excellent Service! My driver Aldo was a very professional local driver with knowledge of any questions I had! Upon meeting my local guide Jose, I could quickly tell that this professional young man had the heart of a saint! Yaxha is more of a jungle setting versus other locations with Mayan Ruins. Lush and green with plenty of shade made for a beautiful landscape to leisurely explore. Jose’s local knowledge and experience brought the jungle alive in a way that I very much appreciated! He took the time to explain the Mayan way of life and hierarchy. If you’re in the Flores area and have a Adventuresome spirit, hook up with Aldo & Jose for an unforgettable experience!

The experience was very good, the coordination and logistics were punctual and before the trip I had contact with intermediary operators.
