Overview

Visit ancient Mayan temples and explore scenic mangroves and cave systems with this tour from Belize City. Percy was absolutely amazing! To start, he made himself available to pick my wife and I up early upon request. Secondly, Percy is extremely personable and knowledgeable about Belize’s history and culture. We had an amazing time talking about birds of the region and facts about the area/things we saw! the cave rafting was incredible. the ruins were worth seeing . i was very disappointed with lunch . i paid a great deal for my tour , lunch was one flour tortilla with stewed chicken and watermelon juice , no rice or beans . i expected more for over $200 each .

Thank you for your honest review, on the day of your tour it was a holiday and our usual restaurant did not make rice and beans on that day however, we offered you different lunch options and you chose the chicken burrito. We also offer all our guest fresh natural fruit juices or sodas along with your lunch, therefore I am not sure what was the issue with the water melon juice. However, I apologise, and I assure our future guest that this is a rare occurrence.

Fred was our tour guide. When we booked we didn’t realize that it would be just my wife and myself. It worked out great and he was friendly, professional and very accommodating. Loved the cave experience. The ruins provided some insight into ancient Mayan civilization and Fred was very knowledgeable. The lunch was simple and delicious.

I really enjoyed this excursion because it was just my party and the tour guide not all the extra people like you’d normally get on an excursion. We had Norman for our tour guide he told us lots about Belize and the places we toured. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. You get to climb up on the ruins to get a nice view of everything surrounding you. They have handrails which is nice. The cave tubing was very relaxing. We hiked 20ish min through the jungle where Norman shared lots with us about the trees and animals we saw. Then we made it to the tubing spot where we just sat in tubes and floated for about an hour and a half. I would def requesting Norman for your tour if you can. We left feeling like we had made a new friend!

Altan Ha and Monkey Sanctuary

Went to Altan Ha Mayan ruins. Very well maintained area and are able to climb the Temples. My group and I opted to go to the monkey sanctuary rather than cave tubing and it was a a great experience interacting with and feeding the monkeys. Our tour guide, Percy, was knowledgeable and we had a good time. Ended up being only my friend and I on the tour which was nice not to be with alot of other people and crowd.

Awesome excursion! Cave tubing was incredible! Tyrek (Mr. T) is an excellent guide. Beautiful views and surreal experience. Altun Ha was also amazing. Guide provided just the right amount of information about the Mayans and the culture. We also got a quick tour of the city. One con was the tour was a bit pressed for time. A lot of distance between the sites. No speed limits in Belize.

Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars. Just book this tour. Jeff and Percy hooked us up. This was a group of 4 girls on a cruise who wanted to go experience Belize during our time in port. We booked this due to reviews I saw and boy did the reviews understate how well we were taken care of. The only problem we had was locating Jeff and that was my fault because I didn’t have a screenshot of that page of info. We met another nice tourist guide who called Jeff for us and then helped direct us to where we needed to be After Jeff picked us up he gave us a tour through the country to the cave tubing. He hooked us up with local drinks before going into the river. And took us through the caves. He pointed out awesome rock formations and plants and animals as we went through. Afterwards we had these amazing tamales that he picked up from a home on the way. Then we went to the ruins and got us some more amazing food. Climbing to the top of the ruins was a high light. On the way back he took us to see some sights. Including his project that he’s working on to better Belize and the country. It was so worth the money and

We would like to apologize for your dissatisfaction and complaints with this tour. However, we would like to clear a few false statements made in your review. Firstly, you booked the tour just hours before the start time, and we immedeately contacted you to let you know that due to a minimum passenger amount not being met, we would have to cancel and give a full refund. The second option was to join our other group at the time who were doing the zipline and cave tubing with lunch; to which you agreed and instructed that you still wanted to proceed. You were given delicious local food and even a fresh squeezed fruit juice, and so I don't know why you would say that we did not buy you lunch. RBA has also maintained it's trustworthiness and it's customer dependability in each tour since the creation of this business and we have the numerous highly rated reviews to prove it. Finally, we have nothing to do with you booking another tour for $150, as this was not booked with us or any of our guides (you know this), therefore it's unfair of you to blame us for their mistakes.
