Aleksandar is a great guide and gave us a huge amount of context and cultural insight into the locations we visited. We also learned a lot about current events and the social landscape of Belgrade and Serbia.
Aleksandar was the most incredible tour I have ever had in my life. I am Serbian, and my boyfriend is American so I booked us private tour, we were both blown away by the amount of knowledge and just in general vibes!! We both learned so much which let to so many conversations after the fact. So highly recommend him! He is worth every penny and some more.
We had an excellent, entertaining, and very informative tour with our guide Alessandra. He provided much insight into the history and culture of Belgrade and Serbia. He also highlighted areas which we should come back to if we wanted to take more time. My wife who is Serbian and I highly recommend this tour and tour guide.
Tour guide is very knowledgeable and easy to get on with. He was able to answer questions and also provided some places to check out independently.
After tour was over he suggested that I take a walk along the Danube as it would take me back to my hotel. Turned out to wan excellent suggestion.

If you come to Belgrade, this is the only tour to do!! The guide, Aleksandar, is incredibly wise and knowledgeable. He will customize the tour if you want to see certain things.
It was a fantastic tour around Belgrade. Alexander is a great guide. His English an enthousiasme about Serbian culture is outstanding! He guides us along Belgrade highlights and tells a lot what you see, and why. We drink a nice cup of coffee in a traditional spot. Where I have solo my unforgettable lunch. Thx a lot Alexander to invite me by this way of the interesting city of Belgrade!
Wonderful tour. It was just me because it was a weekday in January, but that made it so much better. The guide is incredibly knowledgeable and really does a great job of teaching a very complex history. We took a few detours that made everything seem spontaneous. One of the best guided walking tours I've had the pleasure of taking.
I would sincerely recommend this trip to other travelers. Don't mind if you are solo, it can be a great benefit!

It's one thing to have someone show you the sights of the city, but it's another to have someone do that and be able to share literally generations of knowledge with you while doing so. Alexander has a wealth of knowledge about Belgrade, Serbia, the wider Balkan region and of how world history shaped Serbia into the country it is today. Whether you just want a guide to show you the sights of the city, or whether you really want to delve into the history behind it, this tour is for you.
A wonderful walking tour today, and warm sunny weather was the bonus for late November. Belgrade is a very nice city, and Aleksander was an excellent guide and commentator, we learned so much history and interesting facts. A great several hours well worth the time!
Aleksander was an amazing guide, with real knowledge spanning all of Belgrade’s past. It was a great snapshot into Belgrade’s history.
He handled sensitive questions with ease and was a pleasure to spend half a day with.
He also offered solid advice on other things to do in the city, spanning from restaurants to nightlife.
Probably one the best individual tour guides that my wife and I have ever had in over 50 years of traveling abroad together. Aleksandar was both knowledgeable and friendly. His knowledge of the area was impressive.
My guide Milica was brilliant and full of knowledge. She was bubbly, professional and friendly and looked after all of us on the tour.

The excursion itself was interesting and well-organized, but I’m very disappointed with the service. I purchased two tickets for my brother and mother-in-law as a part of her birthday gift. Since my mother-in-law does not speak English, I specifically chose this supplier because the listing stated the tour could be conducted in Russian, and I selected that language during the booking process.
To my surprise, the entire tour was held in English only, with no prior notice or warning. I understand that 3 out of 5 participants were English-speaking, but nobody informed us in advance or gave us the opportunity to cancel or prepare my mother-in-law for the language difference.
As a result, a part of her birthday experience was spoiled, and I’m extremely dissatisfied with how this was handled. A lack of communication like this is simply unacceptable.
Great tour. Learned a ton about the city. My 12 year old son had shorts on and make sure kids wear pants if they want to enter into the churches. Our guide shared his coat and that helped cover him up and let him see the church’s beauty.
Great experience, Alexsandar is a professional guide and a charismatic person. History sounds like an adventure with his words on the street of Belgrade.

We enjoyed learning Serbian history, and the Turkish coffee at the end. The only downside was losing some of what was said due to traffic noise.
Brilliant experience with a very knowledgeable tour guide! I was travelling solo but he made me feel so comfortable from the get go and made the tour so personable and enjoyable. We stopped for a coffee on the way and after it was done I had a deeper understanding of the history of Belgrade, Serbia and its people. I would recommend to anyone who wants to know more about the origins of Serbia and gain an appreciation of its people.

Excellent all around experience. We had an infant with a stroller and Alex was very accommodating. Viator make it impossible sometimes to leave good reviews. I am already going out of my way leaving this one. Please take it or leave it.
I thought there would be more information about Kalamegdan Fortress. Next tours should be improved, if possible!
It was really enjoyable talking to the guide about life in Belgrade, hearing about history and politics and the mindset of the local people.
