This is a great way to explore Bangkok through the eyes of the locals. I think you should be fairly confident riding a bike as you navigate narrow alleys and canals. Ensure you stay hydrated & have change to buy you refreshments on your stops, you’ll need it.
Tom our guide, was very informative & passionate about Bangkok. Thanks Tom :)

We had “Guitar” as our guide and she was amazing. Seeing areas that you would never visit was a true eye-opener and interesting to see and learn. Guitar took photos of the group quite often and helped with individual photos along the way too and was very kind to AirDrop all the pictures she took on her phone to the group free, with no additional cost. I will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Beautiful bicycle trip organized by Coco. Got to see a hidden local vibe with lots of greens and some temples. Would go for it again definitely!

It was our best day in Bangkok. we visited from Canada. The bike tour takes you through real Bangkok back streets. Not the famous Sukhumvit tourist places. You'll see real local people, local shops, local houses and local temples. Locals throughout the bike trail were always kind and welcoming to the riders with warm smiles. The guide was amazing. He was patient with the riders. One person from the group was lost somewhere along the track. He went back searched all over trail to find her and bring her back. You'll be well taken care of from that perspective. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok for the first time. It's fun, it's eye opening and you get to see the real places that are not marketed for tourists. Real authentic Thailand experience. 10 out of 10.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much — 'best day in Bangkok' from visitors all the way from Canada means everything to us! You described it perfectly: the real Bangkok, not the tourist strip. So glad you felt that 🙏
ChoNai_C, May 2026
Great tour! Coco was very patience in telling us spur the Thai culture, temples, food!! Saw parts of Bangkok that would not experience myself! The mango sticky rice we ordered was so good!!!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! Coco will be so happy to read this — he loves sharing the stories behind the temples and streets. And the mango sticky rice... always the right call! So glad you had a great ride 🙏

Good bikes. Narrow streets and alleys. Interesting, informative temple tours. Small group (six people total). "Go Go" our tour guide was splendid! We're in good physical condition and comfortable in the saddle. One would want to be in good shape to enjoy the ride--we loved it!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Jeff! Go Go is a fantastic guide and we're so glad he made the tour memorable. Small groups are exactly how we like it — more personal, more flexible. Really appreciate you sharing this 🙏
Janice_T, Apr 2026
A lovely leisurely 3 hour cycle through the back paths, getting an insight into the locals lives as we cycled past homes and temples. lots of waving and saying hello as we passed. would definitely recommend.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Janice! The waving locals are one of our favourite things about the route — you can't get that on a bus tour! So glad the pace felt just right. Would love to have you back 🙏
Chris_E, Mar 2026
It's a chance to see Bangkok from a different perspective. Our guide Dan is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Chris! Dan brings so much knowledge and heart to every tour — we'll make sure he sees this. Really glad you got that different perspective on Bangkok 🙏
Mithun_M, Mar 2026
The bike tour through Bangkok’s backstreets was well organised and covered several areas that are not usually seen by regular tourists. The pace was manageable and suitable even for those with average cycling experience.
Dan, the guide, explained the locations clearly and also shared useful local knowledge about the neighbourhoods, daily life, and smaller cultural details along the route. This added helpful context to the places we passed.
The route included quieter lanes and hidden spots, which gave a different perspective of the city compared to the main tourist areas. Overall, it was a structured and informative experience for anyone interested in seeing Bangkok beyond the usual location
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Mithun! We work hard on pacing and logistics so guests can just focus on the experience — really glad it showed. Those hidden areas are exactly why we designed the route 🙏

Pleasant afternoon cycling the back ways of Thor Buri. Saw things that I would never have found by myself. A good afternoon!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Timothy! Thonburi's backways are truly special — the kind of place you'd never stumble across on your own. Glad you had a good afternoon out there 🙏

This was the most beautiful tour I’ve ever been on. The guide was wonderful and took photos for everyone, the neighborhood we biked through was full of friendly people and the path was not difficult but it had some exciting ups and downs. I’ll remember it forever. Thank you Dan!! :)
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Victoria! 'The most beautiful tour I've ever been on' — wow, that means so much. Those friendly waves and photo stops are what make the route so special. We'd love to have you back 🙏

Slightly bumpy ride through the charming alleys of Thon Buri, passing a few temples and finishing with a small food market. Very nice to get to see a less crowded side of Bangkok, and our guide was very kind and happy to answer any and all questions.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Max! A few bumps in the alleys are part of the charm! Those small food markets at the end are always a highlight. Glad you enjoyed the less crowded side of Bangkok 🙏
Francesca_R, Jan 2026
A really special way to see Bangkok with a marvellous guide Guitar. She has a lovely nature and a great ability to lead a group and share information. There were some narrow parts to navigate but nothing too difficult, however some of the bridges are very steep so make sure you have enough momentum/the person in front is fast enough, if not walk the bike up ha ha!
Saw some fabulous sites and parts of Bangkok I doubt I would have visited alone and got some great pictures back. Thanks a million ❤️
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Francesca! Guitar is a natural leader on the road — calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. We're so glad she made the experience special for you 🙏
Lisa_B, Jan 2026
Super easy bike ride through Bangkok’s hidden back streets. So much to see around every corner, green, quiet, and nothing like the city. Even shared hotspot Wi-Fi to help us get home. Great job, loved it. A must-do!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Lisa! Green, quiet, and nothing like the city — you've captured it perfectly. And yes, we always make sure guests get home safely, even if that means sharing the WiFi! 🙏
Tom_K, Jan 2026
Great tour of the real life of Bangkok. We experienced a different side of the city, away from the tourist attractions. Our guide Phillip was very friendly and knowledgeable. You need to have at least intermediate cycling skills to navigate the narrow paths and alleys. Well worth the trip..
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Tom! Phillip is brilliant at making everyone feel comfortable on those narrow paths. Good note about the cycling skills — we do our best to prepare guests beforehand. Really glad you experienced the real Bangkok! 🙏
Ami_G, Dec 2025

Thank you Ami! Dan is one of our best — passionate about every alley, temple, and market stall along the route. Really happy you enjoyed the ride! 🙏

Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Kirsty! Dan's enthusiasm for every backstreet and temple is genuinely infectious — really glad it felt like an easy, natural ride. Top work right back to you for joining us! 🙏
Bruce_W, Oct 2025
As advertised, you meander through backstreets and alleyways visiting temples and seeing a more residential side of the metro area. Dan, our guide, was gracious and so informative. This ride takes you by several temples with short stops and time to explore and snap pics. We never felt rushed. You need to be a decent bike rider in order to navigate some of the narrow passageways which are totally cool and add to the ambience of the trip..
The trip is flat with the exception being elevations over klongs(canals) on bridges.
I’ve taken four different Bike Tours in Bangkok over the years with as many different companies. My wife said this was her favorite.
Besides the temple and canals, the area you travel through was the old fruit farm gardens back in the day for the city. Now locals just grow fruit for their personal consumption. But it was really cool seeing all the fruits you find in the market, actually hanging on the trees as we peddled around.
This was great tour and a great value. I would highly recommend if you want to spend a little time seeing the softer side of Bangkok.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! Dan's grace and local knowledge make every temple stop and alleyway feel like a proper discovery. Really glad the tour delivered exactly what it promised! 🙏
Becca_F, Aug 2025
Highly recommend this tour! Bike path was very flat, but includes lots of bumps and skinny paths so be confident in your bike riding abilities! We saw many temples and quiet back areas including lots of greenery and farm areas. It was a perfect reprieve from the busy city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job breaking down Thai and Bangkok history. The guide took a ton of videos and pictures during the tour.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! You're right — a bit of bike confidence really helps on those skinny paths! The flat terrain keeps it accessible but the backstreets definitely keep it interesting. Glad the temples and greenery made it a perfect city escape! 🙏
keith_d, Aug 2025
This engaging bike tour takes you through the more local parts of the city, and lets you see two sides of Bangkok, all while guiding you through winding roads that shed light to both. The street food smelled amazing, and everyone was extremely friendly, overall, an amazing way to experience Bangkok, amazing, a definite 5 stars
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! That mix of contrasts is what makes Bangkok so fascinating — and the street food smells are half the tour! Really glad everyone was friendly and the experience felt so authentic. 🙏
ERICA_G, Mar 2025
It was my first day in Bangkok and joined this tour solo to experience the hidden gems of the city. The tour was everything I expected and more. I’d do it again for sure.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! What a way to start your first day in Bangkok — solo and discovering the hidden gems with a local guide. Really glad it exceeded expectations! 🙏
joe_m, Mar 2025
Fun bike ride through bike paths and backroads. A few of the rest points were at a temples and a local temple festival. Great local experience. Exactly as advertised.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! A temple festival stop is one of those unexpected moments that makes a tour truly local. Really glad it delivered exactly as advertised! 🙏
Catharine_G, Feb 2025
This tour is a must-do if you're looking for an authentic Bangkok experience of everyday life. They took us places I wouldnt have gone to. We were the only tourists we saw in 3 hours and the locals and even the taxi drivers we saw were so friendly welcoming us and saying hello. The tour was perfectly paced with stops at a couple of temples, a snack and refreshments. Our tour guides were amazing! This is excellent value for money and a must do!!!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you Catharine! Not a single other tourist for 3 hours — that's exactly the Bangkok we want to show you. The locals' warmth makes it every time. So glad you experienced it! 🙏
Christophe_B, Feb 2025
3 hours flew by far to quickly! Great experience in very diverse and real neighbourhoods at a leisurely pace.
Guitar and Tua are very hospitable and friendly guides pointing out many interesting every day facts and customs of the various areas we cycled through. The diversity of neighbourhoods and houses is amazing, ranging from simpler and humble to modern and rich giving a great insight into what life in the city is actually like.
The tour also stops at various shrines and stupas and gives participants time to see them and understand local worship practices and superstitions of which there are many.
The riding experience is quite relaxed with lots of little streets and back alleys. We only crossed major highways twice and this felt very secure, especially in light of the crazy traffic of the city. Guitar and Tua made extra sure that everyone was comfortable and accounted for. Group size is small minimizing delays or stragglers unlike other tour groups that are far too large
Be prepared for narrow alleyways and rides along docks and quays that follow the myriad canals or khlongs of the city. If uncomfortable, you can always step down and push the bike for a few meters to handle a tight corner or bridge -Guitar and Tua made sure there is no pressure :-)
We were supplied with plenty of water as it does get quite hot but there is always a little breeze to help along.
In conclusion, this youer was the highlight of our stay in Bangkok and we'd like to give extra thanks to Guitar and Tua for imagining and building such a great original experience.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! Guitar and Tua together make for a brilliant team — and 3 hours flying by in diverse, real neighbourhoods is exactly what we aim for. Really glad you had such a great time! 🙏
