- Calypso Cabaret is family-friendly entertainment. Some scenes may include 'swimsuit equivalent' outfits, but there is no nudity. However, to avoid possible disturbance to other audience members, children under 5 years not permitted
- All seats are arranged automatically via first come first serve basis. However if you have a special request - such as wheelchair - we will arrange a special seat for you
- From most hotels, the easiest way to get to Calypso is take BTS Sky Train to Saphan Taksin Station and then use exit 2. Walk to the pier and take the shuttle boat to Asiatique. Boats leave every 10 minutes. Boat trip approximately 10 minutes
- After the show, guests have the choice to take photos with the performers. If you choose to do so, a tip of approximately 100 Baht per performer is appreciated as a gesture of thanks.

Don’t underestimate Bangkok traffic if you’re travelling by road! It’s a lovely show, really fun and glamorous. High production value. Lots of restaurants around for a bite to eat before or after the show.

This is an amazing visual experience than a dancing show with awesome background graphics and beautiful dazzling costumes. I enjoyed the numbers the boys did the most, as they were funny. The show lasts about 60 minutes.
The drinks were a little slow considering there was not many guests - I had one beer the entire show however ordered another via the QR code on the table which did not arrive.
Finally you do have to run the gauntlet at the end when you leave, with all the performers lined up along a corridor so you can have a photo with them for 100THB - this is how you tip your favorite performer. Tipping is very normal and expected at these types of shows, however I was not expecting to have to walk down a narrow corridor with the performers either side trying to catch your attention - I was alone so felt quite overwhelmed, but if I was with friends I would have got some pictures/tipped!

We did the White Orchid dinner cruise and Calypso Cabaret package. It was such a fun night! The buffet food was really good and the cruise was very nice. The cabaret show was super entertaining and all the performers were amazing! Definitely recommend if you’re in Bangkok.

Show was awesome but experience would have been better if Viator offered hotel pick up. Theater was in a shopping area with lots options for food venues and shopping which we liked.

The dinner cruise was very nice and entertaining. The food was good. However, as a solo traveler, I believe I received the worse seat on the boat and in the theater for the show. I booked over a week in advance, so not sure why I was given such a poor seat other than the fact I was traveling solo. They didn’t provide an option to select a better seat. This was the only real negative I have about the entire experience.

INCREDIBLE! I would recommend this show to anyone who loves and appreciates elements of camp, make-up and costume artistry, fun dance numbers, and supporting diverse groups of people. My husband and I are very confused by any of the negative comments, or even the slight lack of energy from the audience. This show was probably the highlight of my trip to Thailand. The Kathoey, or "Ladyboy", performers were so beautiful and talented. At the end, you could take photos with any of them (for a modest additional tip), and I wanted to snap a pic with every single one. THANK YOU CALYPSO!

Some of the show was great, however I did not know the entire performance was lip syncing. There was no audience interaction, not even the welcome was live. Could probably find a better show however did not have time, please research carefully before booking.

I’m baffled by some of the positive reviews of this show but I suppose perspectives differ so allow me to share mine:
This production was really budget in every sense - from the rundown theatre and worn-out costumes to the dreadful audio and abysmal performance quality, I was left wondering how I manage to get through an hour of this rubbish.
The choreography was clunky, the dancing was wooden and out of time and the performers seemed utterly disengaged. There was no energy and no passion. Rarely seeing anyone smile, I genuinely feel like they were there under duress.
One particularly unsettling moment was a clown-like “laughing” song, if you can even call it that. It was more disturbing than entertaining.
The experience ended on a sour note when we were herded through a narrow corridor like cattle, only to be confronted by cast members begging for 100 baht to take a photo with them. Ironically, this was the first time any of them displayed some real emotion which sadly was full of desperation.
There are undoubtedly fantastic burlesque shows in Thailand, but this was far from one of them. Oh and at almost £30 a ticket, it was a total rip off. Two stars out of pity.

If you go in expecting the pageantry of Rupauls drag race you’ll be disappointed but if you go in with an open mind and don’t mind some quirk you’ll like it! Would recommend as a 1 time thing. Would not say it’s family friendly though

We felt that the show was an average because some of the songs is old material, and it got quite repetitive after each performance. The Ladyboy performers looked amazing in their costumes, and the venue is perfect for the show. Great little tables.

It was terrible I would never go it that again and it was a waste of money a load of rubbish they was miming the song and did not no the words and it was boring and not even funny me and my husband was disgusted what we watched and one the lady boys looked scared and did not want be there and looked like what are we doing this is inbarrising I felt sorry for her we noticed it strate away I would advise people do not waste your money on this show u be disappointed like me and my husband was
