A great first day in Bangalore!

Divakar picked us up from our hotel promptly and was immediately friendly and engaging. He had lots to talk about and was very enthusiastic. We saw and tasted and experienced things so foreign to us and that was incredibly appreciated. We found the local people so friendly and never once felt in any danger though we did experience much hustle and bustle. Loved it!!

A Deliciously Tailored Food Tour with Mayuri in Bengaluru

We booked a private food tour in Bengaluru with Mayuri, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. She began by taking us through the vibrant KR Market, where the colours, aromas, and bustle gave us a real sense of the city’s daily life. From there, we hopped into a tuk tuk and made our way to VV Puram Food Street, weaving through the evening crowds and stalls. The variety was dazzling — crisp dosas, tangy chaats, and sweets fresh off the pan. A standout was the smoky, tender paneer tikka, char‑grilled on skewers to perfection. We ended the night with gulkand ice cream, delicately flavoured with rose‑petal preserve and rose water — floral, fragrant, and utterly refreshing. Mayuri’s English was excellent, and she was extremely knowledgeable about the food, explaining the traditions and ingredients behind each dish. Because it was a private tour, she tailored everything to our tastes and interests, which made the experience feel personal and special. We left not only full but with a deeper appreciation of Bengaluru’s food culture. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the city through its flavours.

Our tour was with Glr and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience. We were picked up at our location on time and taken to a local area with many delicious street food options. GIr was incredibly friendly from the start and explained all the good options and the history of the area. His knowledge and expertise were impressive. Extremely friendly and personal guide. If you’re in the area and want to try some incredible eats off the beaten path definitely get in contact. You won’t regret it!

Jai was an awesome tour guide! We loved getting to see the markets before heading to the food stalls and learning about the history of some of the spots around Bangalore. The food tour part was incredible! I'm pretty weak when it comes to spicy food and Jai made sure we tried a bunch of options that worked for me :) Overall I loved it and would recommend!

This was the perfect way to experience a slice of Bangalore that you might miss otherwise! Jai was an amazing guide, making me feel welcome and sharing interesting history and details about the flower market, produce market, street food, and culture. The food was sooo good, I just wish I had a bigger stomach! Would highly recommend for national or foreign visitors.

We had a great time on our food walk with our guide, Vignesh. We were picked up from our hotel on time and driven to the area around the KR market. After exploring that we took the metro to the street where our food tour was. We visited several stalls and sampled 10 different items - all delicious. Both the market and the food stalls were where the locals went - they were not touristy! We would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Vignesh.

very well curated tour with an insight into culture and life in Bangalore. the food itself was excellent, some of the items, being an Indian I have never tried before. Jay was an excellent guide and both me and my 13 year old son enjoyed the tour horoughly.

Walking in the bazar area and visiting the flower market near Chickpet was the perfect start to the tour. After that, we went to the Food Street where we had a lot of Paneer, Grilled food, spice and sweet, etc. It was really great!
