Very good - Driver was at the airport on time. He was very friendly and provided a few things to do whilst in Ubud. Also made contact during our stay to offer other tours, however we had made booking prior to our arrival.

I had an experience with Viator which admittedly was not entirely their fault. I had not checked my flight info prior to departing Australia and arrived at the airport to find my flight had been cancelled then rescheduled for later the same day. I was stuck at the airport and was reassured by the airline that my shuttle operators in Denpasar would be aware of the changes in my flight and be there to pick me up when I arrived. Not true!
Upon arriving at Denpasar I 'ran the gauntlet' of people holding signs with the names of travellers they were picking up to find my name was not there. I went to the Information Desk and asked them to contact Viator. They got hold of two men who seemed to be subcontractors for Viator, who did not appear too happy when I told them I needed to go to Ubud! One of the men said they would charge me '350' to take me there. Luckily, I had confirmation of my transport booking and payment so the second guy reassured me I would not have to repay.
I was driven by the first guy to my accommodation. He was friendly but did keep trying to get me to organise with him to take me on tours but I declined.
I later found that 350K Rupiah is about the going rate for transport from Ubud to the airport and having paid about 800K, I feel pretty ripped off. I guess I have learnt several valuable lessons from this experience: always confirm your flights before departure, don't count on your shuttle operator checking for flight changes if you don't turn up and research the going rates for transport to/from the airport.
Next time I will either contact my hotel to recommend/book airport transport for me or just use one of the taxi operators at the airport.

Being Bali novices, we booked this airport transfer before we left Australia. It cost us 99 AUD for four people, which on the face of it seemed reasonable at the time. Nothing wrong with it per se, as we were greeted at the airport by a lovely gentleman who was hoping a card up for us etc. However, our return journey to the airport only cost us 25 AUD and was much faster as the driver took us via a toll road. So, not only was the original trip much more expensive, they also saved themselves extra money and took much much longer by using the back, more crowded roads as they didn't want to pay the toll. The 'tour guide' then also pressured us into meeting him at our hotel the next morning to discuss further excursions through this company Tour East. We did so and signed up for a half day tour to 'Turtle Island' which was also overpriced in AUD. It was a complete waste of money and more fool us for not reading the Trip Advisor reviews on that particular trip beforehand. Do not book this transfer-

About 4 times as expensive then should have been had we known better and booked it through hotel, however as it was my first time in Bali l had no idea SO ADVICE FOR FIRSTTIMERS...... when you have hotel confirmed, email and tell them you want airport pickup and if they are helpful and reputable hotel they will organise for you at a cheap price if not get a new hotel there is a million of them in Bali.

Was hard to spot our driver amongst the throng of people in the arrival hall each holding a placard with names on it. Took us a few minutes to figure out ours! Once we got our driver everything was fine. He was polite and very helpful. Happy to recommend.

The driver was there at airport waiting for us on time. He was helpful in giving us ideas for time in Bali but was pushy for information regarding our activities that I felt had nothing to do with him. He obviously wanted us to use him again while we were in Bali.

I booked this service to take me to my hotel in Kuta. It was wonderful having someone waiting for you so you don't have to haggle with a huge group of taxi drivers for a ride to your hotel. I later realized the cost of this is WAY more than you would spend taking a taxi, but I learned!

This was way over priced. You are better off getting a cab from the airport. They will take you to your hotel for around twenty USD.
So out of line for this transfer. We paid 80 for four people. Not good at all.

The man who collected us from the terminal to the vehicle was very chatty - the man driving the vehicle didn't say a single word - the chatty man came to our resort the following day and harassed us to use his particular company for tours during our holiday - the vehicle was not of the same quality as the one in the photo - won't be using this service again.

Driver did not come on time at airport. had to call the company. waited for 30 minute at airport for driver.
when driver finally came he had no idea where our villa was. and we had sent address to company when we did booking. he ended up driving around asking random people for directions. a trip that should tak 25 minutes from airport took 1 hour and 30 minute before he finally found our villa. worst airport pick up service I have ever encounter.

Absolutely brilliant - we had been delayed by 6 hours. We should have been arriving in Bali at midnight but didn't actually arrive until 06:00am. We had no way of contacting viator to let them know about the delay and decided to deal with how we would get to the hotel when we arrived at the airport in Bali as did not think there would be anybody there waiting for us. To our absolute delight there was our driver when we walked through waiting for us. Straight forward journey to get us to the hotel. Very happy with this service and will definitely use viator again to book private transfers to and from the airports.

The man was late. When I finally found him after a 15-minute search he politely apologised for being late because he thought I would take a long time clearing custom and retrieving my baggage.
I paid USD 49 for this 30-minute private transfer. I wouldn't have minded the delay if I had paid less for a shared transfer.
The fact that nobody was manning the telephone helpline provided when I couldn't find the guy and needed help is another reason I find this service OK but could have been better.
The bright side is the guy and the driver were polite and pleasant.

Ok service but not great. Hard to find at the exit of the airport. Had to wander around for 5 minutes. Then tried to charge me extra to use the express way to the south of the island. I had to convince him that it was included in the price

We were picked up by the Representative of Tour East, but found him to be a nuisance. He thought he was our Tour Guide for the whole of our stay, which he wasn't!!! Then he kept pestering us. He wanted us to pay for any trips by cash, but we wanted to use our Credit Card. He kept on pressing for cash and even brought a Driver with him to take us to an ATM - and as Bali is a very difficult place to use Cash Machines we refused to do this. In the end I told the hotel not to put any calls through to me from him. Very disappointing.

The Bali airport was a zoo and there were tons of aggressive taxi drivers wanting our business. Luckily our representative was there to take us through the chaos. Mini bus was fairly clean and the driver did a good job in taking us to the hotel safely. Would highly recommend booking a transfer rather than trying to deal with negotiating a ride with the taxi service at the airport.

It was nice to be greeted in a foreign country with a friendly smiling face. Seamless transfer to our Hotel. Quick exit from the airport into our car and then direct to our HOtel with a driver and a friendly English speaking guide who filled us in with some information regarding Bali. Would definitely do it again this way, rather than getting a taxi.

Driver was friendly, courteous and professional. We had an 11pm landing and needed to get to Ubud. It was very comforting that I was able to arrange transportation ahead of time. Once less thing to worry about after a long flight! Definitely recommend, especially for a first-timer in Bali.
